desertcart.com: Barron's AP Statistics: 9781438002026: Sternstein Ph.D., Martin: Books Review: Better than Princeton Review - For most AP classes, I prefer the Princeton Review to the Barron's review guides, but for AP Statistics I believe Barron's is superior. There are a total of six full tests in the book, one in the beginning for assessment and five in the back for practice. This is the key. With all of this practice, my students felt that they were very well prepared for the exam. Additionally, the chapters of the book covered all of the material required admirably, but so does the Princeton Review. One thing that the Princeton Review does better is to lay out how to use the TI-84 calculator in exquisite detail. However, if you can use the calculator well anyway, the extra tests in this book make it far superior, in my opinion. In any case, I recommend that teachers of AP Statistics get a copy of both the Barron's and the Princeton Review, but get the Barron's for each of your AP Statistics students. Review: Arrived on time, perfect condition, very helpful - The book arrived before I expected it to, and arrived in perfect condition. The box was not torn or scratched or anything. The book itself is also a very help review, probably the best review for AP Statistics out there, as Barron's is always incredible. It comes with more than enough practice exams and explains every answer to every problem. I would definitely reccommend this to anyone looking to buy an AP Stats review without spending too much money.

This is really helpful if you feel like your school teacher isn't much help
This is really helpful if you feel like your school teacher isn't much help. I don't think you should depend on it for good grade in school but definitely something that is a good study aid.

Great Resource!
Purchased for my son. He uses as an extra study guide. He finds it to be clear, concise and quickly summarizes his class room lectures. That he refers to the book daily, lets me know it is a winner!

If you have taken the course and are looking for a good review, this is for you
Used this to self-study for the AP Stat exam a week before without haven taken the course. Aced the exam without a problem. Some terminology and mathematical derivation is excluded, but it definitely does the job for self-studying. If you have taken the course and are looking for a good review, this is for you.

Terrible Format, Great Content
I love Barron's because they do a great job of preparing students for tests, and this book was very helpful. I came up with three stars because the content is 5-stars and the actual e-book is one star. There are no page numbers, which is obviously a terrible design, the blue links are often hard to click on, and the e-book is just frustrating to use in general. Overall, great content, terrible e-book.

Barron's is the best
Exactly what my daughter needed to get her through AP Statistics. Clear, easy-to-understand, well-written text designed to get her to and through the AP exam.

The practice exams are incredibly useful to getting an edge on the AP Statistics exam
The practice exams are incredibly useful to getting an edge on the AP Statistics exam. The only issue is there are a limited number in the book.
