I started a new job about a year ago. The new job requires that I know and can quickly access so much information. I bought this so I could print out all of the different telephone lists, important notes, etc., put them in the sleeves and now it's all at my finger tips. I use the base to store my tape dispenser, stapler, correction tape and post-its. It is so sturdy and looks great on my desk. People always tell me how organized I am and it's because I purchase the right tools for the job. This is definitely a great tool to keep me organized. I am very picky about office supplies/tools and I bought 2 other brands that I did not care for and then I found this one - LOVE IT!!

Being able to do a quick glance for information instead of constantly wait for a lookup on the computer with network lag…invaluable! This is my second desk reference I’ve used from AIDATA. The first I left at my forner office for their ongoing use. I tried an inferior version at my new office because they already had one there. I immediately switched back to AIDATA because it stayed solid stable without falling over every time I turned the pages vs the inferior one falling over with every page turn, held 60 sheets of paper in 30 sleeves vs the inferior only holding 10 sheets per 10 sleeves, each sleeve section has a fold out open for easy load vs the inferior one was too narrow with no fold and difficult to load. This does take up a lot of space…so make sure you have a dedicated desk surface for this. I have an L shape desk and this sits in the middle of one while my dual monitors are on the other on a stand up desk.

I absolutely love it and so does everyone that walks by my desk! Several people in my office come by and use it daily to look up teacher's/class schedules, lunch schedules, all the things! I've had it 2 school years, going on my 3rd school year and I don't know what I do without it! My only problem is... I can't find additional display panels to buy to add to it. I have 3 panels and they keep us so organized that I'm having to choose what to put in it! As a school we are constantly growing so as we add teachers and classes I NEED MORE DISPLAY PANELS! It truly is all that and more! I love being organized and this has everything in one place!

I ordered two of these (one is a gift), and could only assemble one due to missing parts that were left loose in the packaging (and only by combining the contents of both boxes. The boxes these came in were not properly sealed along the edges (by which I mean there were massive gaps), and the small connecting parts through which one feeds screws must have fallen out of the boxes. . I tried to contact the company that made the product to no avail. I intend to try and find some sort of suitable replacement for the missing connecting parts, but as things stand I cannot recommend this product to anyone. There is no excuse for something this expensive to be missing vital pieces, and the lack of response from the company is the nail in the coffin. Very disappointed, because other than that they are exactly what I wanted, but one is non-functional atm. Edit: It's been quite a while but it occurred to me that people might want to know exactly what pieces were missing (no, I still haven't been given replacements). If you look at the picture, you can see the black connectors that are used to assemble the document holder. You need 4 of them for complete assembly. These flat black brackets appear to be about 4cm long and about 1.2 cm tall. I'm having trouble finding any replacement brackets that are any smaller than 1.6 cm tall, but I will keep looking all the same because I would really like to get this thing working.

Two things as background first: I work from home, and most people who do learn to avoid spending unnecessarily on office supplies. This isn't inexpensive, and ordinarily the more inconvenient methods (binders, folders) would have to do. I chose this after a very frustrating incident digging through papers calling it a luxury, and I was thrilled with it. THEN developments at work required me to suddenly have about 30 pages of information constantly at hand at a second's notice for the foreseeable future, with more pages to come. I was SO glad I'd purchased this, as it instantly went from a luxury to a necessity. Now, cons then pros. Cons: -- A very small amount of assembly is required. -- This isn't an inexpensive trivial cost for an office employee or someone who works remotely from home. Pros: -- This is very well made! The page holders are sturdy, and the plastic holding the pages is thicker and more durable than I thought it would be. They also rotate smoothly for quick positioning. -- The base is larger than I thought it would be, also swivels smoothly, and holds more things than I expected. I hope they build one that holds twice as many pages by putting the holding racks back to back. I'd try it in a second.
