10PK 1" SCH40 Adapter

These are great exactly what I needed all the local stores were out from a storm. I thought it was expensive for one but I needed and couldn’t find. Surprisingly there were 10 in the box.

I had purchased several of these at my local Ace Hardware for $.99 a piece! I found this on Amazon for basically 10 for the price I was paying for 2 locally. They are the exact same brand and meet the schedule 40 specs.

I only wanted one but got ten.

Decent product, gets the job done if you don't have other options. Photos show the Genovo on the right and the Dura on the left, for my application the Dura is a much better choice. The thread taper rate on the Genovo is too steep and not as extended as the Dura so less threads engage on the male end. I need the adapter for a brass ball valve and I get maybe 4 or 5 threads in compared to 7 or 8 on the Dura. For a permanent solution the Dura is a much better choice but since they are currently unavailable I'll use the Genovo. The Genovo is also a thinner product and on the slip end you'll get the pipe in to about 1" depth compared to 1 and 7/16 depth on the Dura.

I only needed 1 of these. But the 10 pack was almost as cheap as buying one at the local hardware store.
