When I got this my lady wanted to try wax play and since I love giving her massages from time to time I thought a massage wax would be perfect, lord I didn't know how right I was for making this purchase. The scent is decently strong not too strong but it's pretty potent so you can smell it almost immediately after lighting it and it smells incredible! You gotta wait at least an hour before you pour, maybe longer cause the wax takes a lot longer to burn which is good in its own merit and the wick doesn't leave a strong burning scent when blowing it out. But when it was ready it cooled off almost immediately, I accidentally spilled some on my hand and it didn't even hurt, it was warm at best so it was at the perfect temp. The ingredients are amazing, perfect for all sorts of problems including acne so not only is it the perfect massage oil but it's the perfect skin remedy too my hands have never been softer! Compared to regular lotion it didn't irritate my girlfriend's skin or my hands so I had little to no problems massaging at all it really did the trick loosening up the muscles. One of the best investments I've ever made and I can guarantee I will be buying again in the future, it's small but decent sized so it came in a nice package. Definitely worth the money

What an amazing way to involve your lover. You can use this as your candle during a shower and then blow it out and use as a lotion after.It smells like a bakery, sexy, warm vanilla. I love the pouring spout which makes it easy to use. The massage oil is smooth and just glides on your skin.Normal candle wax is thick and can burn skin easily- this was designed specifically to stay warm at a safer temperature, especially if you are trying this for the first time. No waxy build up when using for massage! The ceramic is a good quality. I have a partner who is sensitive to strong smells and really liked this candle!This is hands down the best. I got this after reading the other reviews with a hopeful degree of skepticism and am so glad! Definitely the most I've spent for a candle, but when you take into account that you are investing in relaxing lighting, massage oil, and a therapeutic experience tool, it is worth every penny! Bought this as a wax play candle. The drip is not ideal for wax play but the consistency is great for massages, will be buying again for that reason. Very subtle and relaxing smell, not overpowering or irritating at all. Has a low melting point so it solidifies quickly after outing wick, and you should not pour while wick is lit. Remember to burn evenly to avoid tunneling.

Not overly hot! Just perfect! Makes skin soooo soft

This candle was beautifully packaged and smelled great. I gave it as a gift but haven’t heard back on whether it’s been used yet.

Essentially the "wax" is not wax at all, more like a warm massage oil. Honestly would have preferred a touch hotter but that's subjective. Lavender scent of the oil was quite strong and we ended up washing the oil off my girl with a wet rag afterwards and lighting a different candle in the bedroom or sleeping would have been a problem. Good for first timers like us tho!

I just purchased my second candle for the wife. We love it, and the lavender is not overpowering. We like that is is not scorching hot, I can pour it directly onto my hands, or her back, with no pain.
