I looked at hundreds of urns on-line. I wnted something special and beautiful for my beautiful husband.I wa not a fan of the traditional upright urns. They felt cold to me. To others, they may be perfect, but I wanted something classic, elegant and subtle. This wooden rosewood urn fit my expectations to the "T".The bottom has a phillips head screw that is resessed. Once you place your delicate ashes in the urn (I put them in a velvet bag that I already owned, you screw the botton on and place it upright. I separately purchased a small engraved placque for the front as well.This item is beautiful, tasteful and affordable.

It was perfect. I sat it on a slab of wood with painted wood flowers. Very well built and the stain was beautiful. Thank you for making my husband's memorial affordable

I bought two of these for my husband and myself when the time comes to be cremated. I was at at a memorial where the persons ashes were in this box. We fell in LOVE with it. Simple and classic. I opened one box and was impressed to see how well it was wrapped. There are two layers of protection over the cremation box. I have them stored under our bed. I don't want our children to have to worry about anything when we pass. All our arrangements are made and paid.

This urn is exactly what we were looking for. We liked it because it had a somewhat masculine yet elegant look to it. It came packaged with enough protection to prevent any damage in shipping. It included a carry bag will be very useful in protecting it when transporting. We took it to an engraver for personalization and are all so pleased with the results.

This is a decent little rosewood cremation box for the money. My Dad recently passed away, and he wanted to be cremated. We needed to find something to place his ashes in before we could bury him next to my Mother. The price they wanted for a simple box at the funeral home was simply outrageous. Once again, Amazon to the rescue! My father would have had a fit if we had spent much money on a cremation urn or box. He was a penny pincher from the word go, and he simply would not have approved. This isn't nearly as fancy and finished as the boxes we saw on display, but it isn't a cardboard box either. I think for the money, this isn't a bad deal at all. It will absolutely serve it's purpose, and it totally fits him.

This is a solid made, gorgeous urn. Better than I had imagined. The price was excellent considering the craftsmanship and beauty.I added an engraved plate to the top of the box.

I bought this rosewood urn for my husband who was a carpenter. It is beautifully hand crafted. The finish is shiny but not to glossy. Its just the right amount of finish so as to look classy but not over done. I am very pleased with this product. If ever you are in a situation where you are in need of a resting for a loved one, this is a perfect solution.

A nicely crafted box. Good value. I believe the size isn't true. Ordered a large just in case for my 130 lb brother. And there wasn't much room to spare.
