Great For Pocket Carry (with a Little Adjustment)
The craftsmanship on this trigger guard is *very* nice. Good symmetry, all the edges are polished and smooth, no scratches, mars or indication of shoddy handling at all. There's even a little stamp inside identifying the make and model. And yes... it's TIGHT AS HECK! It is perfectly fitted for the firearm, with ZERO play.Now... normally, if you've got to modify something to get it to work for you, that's worth knocking off a star. But, what some would call "too tight", I call "a good starting point".Mine was tight to the degree that the first several times I practiced my (unloaded) draw, it nearly yanked the firearm out of my hand. The good and bad about Kydex is that it really doesn't wear in (or out) like leather, so my first thought was: "Can I permanently tune it?" I am happy to say ABSOLUTELY YES! And easily.Forget the oven and forget the hairdryer. I lit a candle (Apple Pumpkin, from the Yankee Candle company... but that's a personal preference, LOL), and ran the empty, upside-down trigger guard end-to-end a couple inches above the flame. (You want to heat the "inside" of the guard.) I held on to the guard loosely, with as many fingers as I could, to function as my own warmth and rigidity sensor. ;) It really only takes maybe 10 seconds? Might depend on how close you are to the flame, but I didn't let it touch the material. I also never squeezed it to the degree it would mess with the shape. I'd go so far as to suggest NOT squeezing it or prying it open.Reason be; It softens up quickly at all the right places. Those being: the 'bottom' (which as you're holding it over the flame is 'up') as well as the trigger well. So all you need to do is to slide your firearm in and out of the warm guard several times as it cools. Viola! You really only need to adjust it ever-so-slightly. I can still pull the firearm out of my pocket, "drop" it (paracord attached to a belt loop obviously) and it will hang on, 9 times out of 10. I'm pleased with that level of retention, and the smoothness with which it disengages now is night and day!Hope this helps!LC's Dad

I didn't find this "holster" useful for concealed carry
My plan for using this "holster" was to attach the lanyard to my belt and to carry the pistol in my front pocket, and if I needed to draw the pistol in self-defense then the “holster” would automatically detach from the trigger guard during my draw stroke when the lanyard reached the end of its length.Despite extensive experimentation, I encountered two persistent problems that made this "holster a NO-GO for me: 1) the lanyard length I needed to conceal the pistol in my pocket was too long, and to make it work as I envisioned would force me to make major modifications to my draw stroke that produced unnatural movements; and 2) the “holster” did not smoothly detach itself from the trigger guard, which harshly jerked the pistol during the draw stroke. (After trying several different pocket holsters I found that the PCS Blackbird leather pocket holster worked best for my situation.)

No problems here
I've seen many reviews complaining that the retention on this trigger guard is too tight, but I haven't had any problems here. I'm not sure if they have improved the product based on the poor reviews, or if I'm just lucky. I've been carrying it for almost a week and have had no issues. I have noticed that you do have to pull from the bottom of the string (where the knot is) and not the top, or it will be difficult to release, but that is the way it is designed to be. When you loop the string, you should end up pulling as far away from the trigger guard as possible.Another positive for me is the way that these fit on my Glock and can still fit in my favorite holsters. My husband makes fun of me but I am more comfortable carrying this way seeing as the Glock does not have a safety. I've been practicing drawing with this trigger guard diligently and would rather be comfortable with an extra step than uneasy and make a fatal mistake. As I become a more seasoned shooter, I am hoping to avoid the need for a trigger guard but for now, I'm good. Attached are pictures of the Glock with the trigger guard in my Remora sticky holster and in my UnderTech UnderCover leggins (which I treated myself to as a Christmas gift). I did take pictures of myself wearing the holsters, but I'm rollin' up on 40 and have 2 kids and a 1 yr old and have just lost a bunch of weight. I'm by no means shy, but wanted to spare you from what my kids call my 'wrinkly' stomach. (Yup, still had to give you that visual) Anyways, hope this review helps people who are on the fence about this trigger guard.

Safe way to carry.
I carry in the waistband so this item gives a bit more safety when drawing. The item does not interfere with the draw.

Follow-up to the candle method of adjusting the fit
A follow-up on how to loosen it. Mine was unreasonably tight and even using the method of waving the open end over a candle didn't help enough. I figured out where it was sticking and it was along the very bottom of the 'trench'.After running it over the Yankee Candle Balsam Fir candle for at least 10-15 seconds, I then took the end a magic marker and crammed it down all the way to the bottom in order to widen it a little...just a little is all it takes, so don't go crazy and over do it, m'k?We should be paid for advertising Yankee Candle! :)Anyways, I'm good to go now and I will probably order one for my Glock 19, even though I have the spring activated guard.

Great fit
This guard is on my carry at all times. I prefer over IWB due to comfort. Pulls off with a nice snap, but stays on with no concern of slippage
