LED Lightsource's wireless RF remote uses a five button capacitive touch remote to dim, control lighting colors/patterns, and power on/off your LED lighting products by sending a signal to the included RF receiver. The controller has 15 preset patterns including: static color, 3-7 color blink, cross fade, gradual change, and more. You can also control the speed and brightness for each pattern. There is no line of sight required so you can use the remote anywhere within 60 feet of the controller. The remote also features a touch color ring and LED indicator light which allows you to easily select the desired color. This unit is compatible with 12-24V RGB LED light fixtures, including 5050 and 3528 LED strips, wall washers, light ribbons, and downlights. The controller comes programmed to be operated by the remote from any set, but can also be changed by the user to only operate with the matched remote. This allows the user flexibility in installing multiple controllers in the same area without interference. Does not work out of the box, needs programming changed.
So at first this controller would not hold the color selected for more then 5 minuets or so. Was about to returnit when decided to try one more thing. You need to change the mode of the controller from accepting commands from any remote to only one. After doing that it worked great. The instructions are useless and say nothing about needing to do this but do give how to change the mode. No idea why it would work this way. Ran two RGB strips lighting a pool fountain. Great!

Crap product. Do not purchase.
The remote doesn't respond. It doesn't control the the controller. It doesn't stop flickering. The instructions give no guidance nor can you find anything on the internet about it. I read the 5 star reviews and I believe it's all probably from the people who are pushing the product to sell. Lasted 30 minutes hooked up before ending in the trash after attempting to trouble shoot it because dealing with returns is just as bad as dealing with bad products.

Glad I took a chance
After reading the reviews I was skeptical but I'm glad I took a chance because it's much better than the IR and the range is great. On the IR one I had to go outside to turn it off and on and I had contemplated putting an on off switch inside to the main power but when I saw the RF version thought I'd give it a try, good call

Bought two for separate runs (wouldn't install that way but was). Excited one of remotes controlled both units, but one won't hold color. Will change after a while (time varies). Very hard to sync or tell what program/scene is running, hard to pause them

VERY EASY TO INSTALL BUT CAN NOT BE PROGRAMED/ WILL NOT ALLOW COLORS RED,BLUE,GREEN OR YELLOW TO STAYS ON FOR MORE THEN 5MIN BEFORE GOING BACK TO THE DEFULT COLOR "WHITE".

It's well built but the software is garbage. Won't hold a single color for more than ten minutes. If it wouldn't default back to one color it would be nic
