I thought this would be perfect for my business. It’s small and compact. This is a good product to have for emergency for any business. This Quattro is designed for use anywhere counterfeit detection may be needed and its rechargeable battery means access to power is not required. And anyone can use it easy with the digital display clearly reports pass or fail for checked bills along with their denomination. I do not have any problem using it, but if I have a problem just make sure that the machine is properly closed before use. I can see the recommended helpful since I use lot of the time daily with all cash I have been through the customers. So, all the worn and dirty bills can cause the machine to get dirty, I take the recommend that the customer follows the user guide to properly clean the machine after heavy use. It also has four way scan: that I can insert a bill in any of the 4 possible orientations and this Quattro will verify its authenticity. It is easy to put together and understand, and literally took less than 5 minutes for putting it together. I also wanted one when I went to the banks, but I thought it would be too much. I thought the price was reasonable for it’s to be an automatic counterfeit detector. I tested it and was please how fun it was to learn how to use. It is fast and very clear. I am very lucky that I have never seen counterfeit money in my business before.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The gas station down the street ran a counterfeit $100.00 bill through this machine, that I had received at my business. They ran it through this exact machine. I was so impressed and wanted to avoid anymore counterfeit bills. Glad I did because it saved me from someone trying to pawn more counterfeit bills just days after I bought it. (2-fake 100 bills) Speed: Dare I say it's faster and more accurate than a pen Works well: Totally! Quality: Seems to be made well, I hope it lasts a while. It's already saved me from counterfeit bills

I have ordered 3 of these. 2 of them are working great. They are very fast and effective. The third one stopped working after about 1.5 months. I tried to call the company to send it in for repair/replacement and I cannot get a hold of a single person in any department. I tried calling sales, tech support, and the operator. No one answers their phones. I called at different hours for 2 days 5-20-15 and 5-21-15 and I got a hold of the operator one time. I asked if I could talk to tech support and if they are still open. She said they were there and she transferred me. No one answered. I called back and no one answered in any of the departments again. The next day I called no one answered still. I have called 20+ times. I would not recommend buying these even though they do function better than other ones I have tried. If it breaks or something goes wrong, you will be on your own. I think they must be going out of business or something. 888-800-0303 is the number I kept calling. EDIT: I still tried to call these guys every few days or so since I wrote this review. I was still unable to get a hold of anyone. I called Amazon and they were nice enough to level me return it directly to them. Now I have to decide if I want to roll the dice and order another or go with a different brand. I think I will try something else.

Ran it through a variety of test and it did wonderful. On rare occasions had to send a bill back through a 2nd time as I knew the truth about each bill test and it never failed the 2nd time to choose correctly. So keep that in mind if you have a send thought just run it again. It’s a quick machine so you could run every bill twice if you wanted to. Great product it’s nicely compact and you can’t beat the price if it’s going to save you money right?

Super quick and efficient. Only issue is it doesn't recognize or pass on the first try - takes several tries.

if you are pizza delivery driver as me you can understand how easy to life with this machines. I was looking for portable counterfeit detector in my car for check cash bills when i was doing my pizza delivery work. My honest detail review; After i make little search on web and read a lot of good and bad reviews i decided to choose Cassida brand. Item is lighter and smaller than what i was thinking this is very good because you can even put inside of pocket of your hoodie. When i was ordering this item i was thinking to i can use with converter in my car during delivery times and when i received item i see that it is already created with battery slot! whichone makes me very happy! (For Portable use battery is not include but you can buy easily) Detector is real fast, just show it bills in it and shorter than a second checking will be done. Detector lights real bright, very easy to use even night darker time you can use easily. Till this time im actively using this detector and never had any issue even wrinkle bills. I had a chance during this time to try for $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 and no issue. (Even very wrinkled bills) Before i buy this detector i read some bad reviews about detecting issue, i think seller improved this detector somehow because everyday actively using 6-7 hours and still working well.

Hi - I purchased this scanner to use in New Zealand. The size of the currency notes were too wide for the scanner and for the $5.00 that did fit was not recognised and so failed.
