I bought this as a christmas present for my 4 year old and it was a HUGE hit! Sadly in all the christmas excitement he lost the drill bit and therefore couldn't really play with the toy. The half ripped open box sat sadly at our kitchen table for several weeks when finally my son couldn't take it any more and started using his fingernail as the drill bit, and in that process broke the bottom of the blue car in half. I decided to email the company to see if they sold replacement parts and despite their website stating that it could take days for them to reply, they got back to me within a couple of hours. I explained the situation to USA Toyz and they decided to send me a whole new box which arrived a couple of days later. My son was ecstatic!! He couldn't open the box fast enough! This was last week when we received the replacement and every waking second he plays with these cars that he can build "all by himself!" I couldn't be happier with the toy itself, how well it is made, how easy it is for my son to use without my help (for the most part), and lastly how wonderful the company handled our situation. Great, great, great toy and such a wonderful company! Thank you USA Toyz.

First off adults must assemble unless child is older. But my grandson 3 loves to work with tools and it’s great learning tool with guidance when just letting them figure out where pieces go and how to screw them in. You can’t mess it up. Great quality material and love the concept of building the truck with bolt/screws. There is logical thinking because the directions are non existent and it can be initially challenging because you’re looking at the box and the pieces in front of you. Though it all comes together with trial and error. And when he’s playing with it everything stays in place and very user friendly.

The drill that is also a remote control did not work. It did light up when the batteries were placed in it, so I know it was getting power. But the buttons did not do anything. The drill option did not work, nor the remote control option. I gave it 2 stars because my son did like to build it. A couple screws did not fit properly. Very poor construction on this toy. Besides my son using it as a building toy, it’s useless. I won’t be using this company again.*** I edited this review because the company worked very nicely with us after leaving this review. They reached out to us after they read it, refunded me the money AND sent me a replacement that works perfectly. My son thoroughly enjoyed being able to build the toy and then use as a remote control car.

This is the perfect toy for the specified age range of three to six years old--not too many parts, large pieces easy for little fingers to put together. And oh so much fun! Once we took the pieces out of the box and assembled the bulldozer in a few minutes, my three year old spent an hour driving the thing all around the dining room floor while the one year old looked on with glee. We noticed that it drives in a straight line on carpeted area, whereas on a hardwood floor it turns off course more since its tires spin unevenly. The only minor complaint I have is that the screws are not long enough to actually secure the seat portion--it just rests there. It's always coming loose from a little jostling or falling off. We will have to resort to superglue, I fear. So overall, awesome concept for a toy, great and simple design appropriate for young children, just a bit annoying that one part doesn't stay on with the screw.

Just wanted to review this item. My 3 year old grandson is crazy about trucks and tractors. His birthday was in May and this is still a favorite. He has learned to use the manual screw driver correctly and can take the screws out and in with it. He doesn't use the battery driver as he finds it easier to just use the manual one. This has really taught him about the direction for off and on.Cons: you have to take off the bottom of the car to plug it into the charger. Wish I could purchase some extra screws.Update: the customer service is amazing! I contacted them to get extra screws and they really came through! This continues to be my grandson’s favorite. He can now disassemble and assemble a variety of trucks on his own and has really taught him how screws work and he’s not even 4 yet.

Pros- once assembled by an adult it was fun for my 5 year old. Easy to drive on hard floor and carpet. Multiple different types of construction trucks you can make.Cons- adult assembly required. Doesn’t come with batteries.
