So do these just have a normal plug? Or do they conect via another method?

What size is the wire that comes with these?

I think there was about 2 feet of wire on each light. I think there were also some extra lengths in the box but it's very easy to extend them. I just used plastic connectors and ran them round two stables. Very straightforward.

The wire on these is thinner than the wire i behind my motorhome light fitting, is it safe to join this to the thicker wires? if not what can i do?

It's fine to join the wires, make sure you get them the right way round, led's are polarty sensitive!!

Do these come with extra wire?

Yes, when I bought them there was about 200mm of thin wire on each light and a bundle of thicker wire in the box, cant remember how much. Maintain the polarity when extending, LEDs need it to be correct.
