I didn’t buy this for training, I bought it for my dog to stay leashed and play in the water without me getting wet. It is perfect for this, he was frolicking, yet if another dog was coming, I could pull him in (he is dog aggressive). Now. What I didn’t plan for. Seagulls. I am was looking at the water and he took off after a gull....and my thumb paid the price with a blister/rope burn like no other. Luckily I had the handle around my wrist, so he didn’t get loose, but Lordy, my thumb will be healing for a while. I blame myself for this, not the product, I just want you to be aware.

The clasp that attaches to the collar is extremely week...very little spring to it. The clasp came undone two times when the dogs body presses up against it. First time I thought it was a weird fluke...the second time I spent 30 minutes chasing the dog down a highway with cars swerving and brakes screeching and luckily it didn't get killed. When I got home I compared the clasp to the other leashes and found the spring strength was half of the other ones and also didn't have as much of a hook shape to it. Honestly, do not buy this if your dog would like to keep going if let off a leash.

I loved the rope, the handle was a huge plus. The length and the bag to keep it in. I couldn't wait to use it as we just received it yesterday. Took the puppy to the field, attached the check cord. Threw the bumper dummy 3 X and she came back on the last toss with the rope unattached to her harness it had snapped close to the buckle.. Luckily she came right back to me. Strong, durable puppy proof cord description made me believe it was able to withstand a 4 month old Lab pup . I guess not.

Exactly what I needed! Now I can let my boy run with more freedom while still retaining the control to keep him from running off after a rabbit. I chose the orange so it was easy to see against the terrain.

After three uses in the ocean water, the clasp became stuck open while my dog was romping and doing 360 spins in the water. This frightening malfunction sent my recently adopted greyhound on a free and fast run in nearby streets. I was fortunate to get her back unharmed.

This is the second training leash I have purchased. The first one was a flat version. It was OK but kept getting tangled. This one is amazing. Have a 4 month old, very active Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is totally enjoying the freedom of this leash. I am enjoying watching her as well as the fact it does not get tangled into a mess. Try it you will enjoy it as much as your dog.

Just a heads up on the leash...as soon as I opened the door my dog saw a deer & took off after it. As she ran the leash went with her giving me something equivalent to rug burn on my fingers. It was the 50 ft leash so all 50 ft quickly passed across my hand. The handle is padded and comfortable. I was holding it bunched up so I didn’t trip going out the door. It isn’t a product defect and am still in love with the product. It was just a crazy mishap with my dog. After the morning drama we enjoyed our walk. We live in the country where 1 of my dogs goes out without a leash bc she doesn’t leave our property. My other dog takes off so she has to be leashed when we go out. This gives her more freedom and can explore more than the average dog leash. I’d buy it again. For under $20 it was worth every penny. Just be careful how you hold it if your dog likes to take off quickly as soon as the door opens.

Es una buena correa, si bien es cierto lastima cuando el perro se jala de mas, lo que yo hago es cuando veo qué hay algún detonante que lo vuelva inquieto, pongo la correa más corta y así evito lastimarme, pero sinceramente se jala menos y hace del paseo mucho más feliz porque creo le estresaba mucho el no tener mucha más distancia para irse. Tengo un husky de 20 kilos y es muy resistente, no he visto peligro de que se rompa o sea muy delicadas. Los paseos cambiaron porque ya no se jala,ni anda intenseando.

Great for training

I am a dog trainer and own a LOT of long leashes and use them often with my own dog and clients dogs.I got this because I liked the padded handle, the bright colour, but mostly the bag.The bag is sooooo bright, which makes it very hard to loose :D I keep my dogs boots, extra leashes and collars in the bag.I got the 15 ft, though I usually use 20 ft lines, but I haven’t really missed the extra 5 feet.I love this leash and have been recommending it to my clients. It’s very comfortable to hold and use.

I really like the colour, the fact that it came with a great carrying bag, and how comfortable the handle is.I do, however, find there’s a little bit of stretch to the line, but maybe this is a good thing for my 100lb dog - won’t rip my arm out of its socket when she sees a squirrel :-)

The media could not be loaded.  I love this leash. It is exactly what I needed. Now I can train my puppy and let her run without me running behind her. And I can still control and manage her. Of course this for training and playing, not for walking at it is way too long (50ft). It is very strong and I can guarantee you that you will need a bull to break it. The only issue I can see it is quite sensitive to the biting. So, if your dog bites a lot his leash, then it could be an issue. I protected the start of the leash to prevent any further issues. And it's not heavy at all and my puppy doesn't mind at all having it! (see the video). And on top of that you get a nice bag where i put all my leashes! I recommend this product! Whatever the length you need!
