Electroacoustic Tenor Ukulele

I am REALLY happy with my purchase of a Vangoa Electric Tenor ukulele. It arrived quickly and well-packaged with all of the extras shown in the listing. The first point to note is that the extras alone (strap, spare strings, tuner, 3m phono cable, and capo, plectrums, plus a few other bits) would cost £30+ if bought separately from the ukulele, so this shows what fantastic value the whole package is. The ukulele itself is well built and has a lovely light brown colour with cream trim, which makes it look more expensive than it is. It's smooth all over, with no rough edges on the frets. The strings stretch a little, as you would expect, but after a day or two they had settled down and just needed a minor tweak before playing - but it is very easy to tune using the supplied tuner. I would say that even though I have been playing for 4 years, I still class myself nearer to being a beginner than to an intermediate player, but this plays well and has a very nice sound, whether strumming or fingerpicking. It is well balanced to hold and lightweight, and the included strap makes it even easier to play. It is loud and clear when played through the electric EQ (just a point to note here - the sliders for the volume/treble/bass go from Right (off) to Left (max), which is contrary to what you would expect - it fooled me! To sum u,p beginners would NOT be in any way disappointed with this as a starter instrument. It is quite important to know that, as a beginner, the tendency is to buy a cheap ukulele, costing under £30, and then be so disappointed by the sound you get out of it that you want to give up playing - I know, having made the same mistake myself! I would say the sound that I can get out of this is superior to my Kala concert ukulele, which costs twice as much. It comes with a good quality carry case to protect it, so all in all, you've got everything you need to start playing. Just find your local group and get out there FIVE STARS!! Finally, if you do have any issues, I can say that SADIE from Vangoa Customer Service was excellent. I emailed Customer Service as I was having trouble getting sound out of the Electric EQ into my amplifier (see above comment). I didn't expect to hear anything soon, if at all, but Sadie responded so quickly and politely and worked really hard to help me sort things out - FIVE STARS!! In short, if you're unsure whether to buy one of these ukuleles DON'T HESITATE - the package represents EXCELLENT value for money and it's an EXCELLENT product - you won't be disappointed.

A good uke to play. Replaced the fitted strings that were cheap and not very loud. Replaced with Aquila low G set and Wow - what a difference. Played “Hotel California” and it sounded brilliant with low G set. Loud too. Only gave it four star because of the poor strings fitted. With the new strings it can have 5+

I fully recommend this Ukulele for more experienced players and, when adding in the extensive bundle of accessories, it is everything that a beginner needs. The Ukulele on its own is of great quality. The build is very good with arched back, nicely rimmed body, a comfortable neck with smooth edged frets and covered tuners. The action is low making it easy for beginners and great for faster passages. The tone, volume and sustain are incredible for an instrument at this price point. The goodie bag contains a basic strap, spare strings, chromatic tuner, ukulele sized capo, electric cable, booklet. The gig bag is of good quality. Out of the box the Uke takes a little tuning and patience early on. It is probably advisable to invest in a higher quality set of strings. However, the strings it comes with, once they have been stretched are more than adequate for the beginner (frequent tuning early on is good practice!). If playing through an amp, first take the plastic cover off the battery - it is almost invisible. Once adjusted, the sound is very good. At just over £60.00 this has to be one of my best buys of the year and I would not have been upset if I had paid double.

Very good product,and value for money.works well at home with a mini amplifier.my grandson says I can go busking at the local markets if times get tough.

Good value for money but the pickup didn't work. Tried my other uke with the same cable that was provided and that worked fine so obviously a problem with this new one. A shame as it looks a nice instrument and a handy beginners kit as well. Returned and refunded no problem.

Nice sounding uke. Needed help to fix the amp. Not hugely loud.

Upgraded from a soprano ukulele to a concert size uke . Very pleased plays well , easy to tune , looks good and came with an amazing package of accessories and carry bag .

Die Ukulele ist sehr stabil und sieht total super aus. Es ist alles dabei was man benötigt und die Qualität ist auch total gut für den Preis. Der Klang ist auch sehr gut. Viel Zubehör für wenig Geld- Top Produkt !

Ho questo ukulele ormai da più di un anno e non ha mai deluso le sue aspettative. È professionale, ben rifinito, con un suono pulito e di buona qualità. Ne faccio un uso intenso e non ha il minimo segno di usura. Consigliato!

El Ukelele más completo y de mejor relación calidad precio del mercado. Sonido aceptable y con todos los extras, cejilla de buena calidad, correa, afinador, cable, púas y todo con pilas incluidas! Y como opinión subjetiva, es bonito. Una maravilla.

Bien arrivé, kit très complet, étui, accordeur, médiator, etc... Le tout de bonne qualité, y compris le préampli. Bon rapport qualité/prix !!! Difficile de trouver mieux !!!
