Easy to set up and crystal clear video day and night. Cameras are easy to set up and the ability to monitor and change settings on the individual cameras via Android phone or base system is a breeze. Clarity of night vision is so good that you can read a license plate on the vehicle at night with no lights on outside (parked vehicle 15 foot to 20 foot away outside in driveway). At night there are two features on cameras (set these from phone or system) to give you crystal clear black/white detection or color video. Depending on moon light and outside lighting, night time color video is almost as good as day time!Motion zones can be adjusted to cover specific areas and the ability to adjust each camera to pick up person motion or car motion (or both) are an amazing feature. The cameras can also be individually adjusted for motion sensitivity too.Touch screen on base unit is very easy to use and responds quickly. Voice activation on base unit is fun to use too and easy to turn off or on.Two slight downsides to the system are that the audio is so-so on the cameras and you have to be close to the cameras for conversation and instructions are a little vague.Look for Lorex sales once every few weeks to save a few bucks. I added four more cameras for inside and out and they give us piece of mind when we are out of town. Notifications are sent to my phone if motion is detected when set for monitoring home. (We have not added any interior sensors, yet). In all...great system and highly recommended.

I would have given this system a rating of 5, but it only allows 1 person to be logged on remotely at a time. We use this system to monitor one of our vacation homes, and both my wife and I like to check on it from time to time. The software allow you to stay logged in on a single device, but if more than one person wants to be able to use the system, it requires a lot of logging in and out. The cameras have a surprisingly clear picture. Works great with the Lorex doorbell.

This dropped to a price that I couldn’t resist. I ended up using the app only and not the console. I couldn’t review events without having a memory card in each camera. The app is not great but allows full use without the console. Unless you plan on using the console you are better off just buying the cameras and use through Wi-Fi. Great camera picture in any light conditions.

I was really excited to get this system, and had it working for about 90 seconds, but once I got it set up, it failed. The cameras worked fine I guess, but the touch screen unit failed and became possessed. It started randomly switching screens and wouldn't respond properly to any touches. It took an hour to install the cameras and screen, run cables for power (wireless...except not, lol), and by the time I was done setting up the app on my phone, I noticed the home center screen unit started doing things by itself, wouldn't respond to touches, and seriously looked like someone had hacked it. I tried resetting it, but this required a screen touch of the "Agree" which I was unable to do, because the touch screen wouldn't work. This unit is junk, which is sad because Lorex is good stuff. We've had a Lorex system at work for years, and it works flawlessly, but this home unit is just poor quality, and failed before the glow of having a camera setup had even started. The app is also atrocious, and only lets one phone be signed in at a time. I decided that with all my frustrations, gimmick of an app, and wildly bizarre failure on the touch screen, I'm not going to settle for this crap for $350. Consider this review a warning on buying this unit.

This Lorex system is a great home surveillance tool! The set up was a breeze and it yields a clear and wide view of my front door and driveway area. It has a 2-way speaker feature; remote viewing via an app; memory card capabilities on the monitor (to support the internal memory if needed) as well as SD card slots on each camera; active and adjustable motion sensors, and an alarm you can activate if unwanted activity is detected. This is my second "Live View" Lorex system I have owned and I am very pleased I upgraded to this sleeker more contemporary model!

They work every well. Picked up a rabbit almost every night that it goes by. The night vision works great. Would def recommend to anyone looking for a wifi camera system.

Pricey, not portable. Can only live view in single or quad screen mode. Can only review in single screen. High quality cameras and video quality. Useful if you want an HD system that can operate without being hooked to the internet (some camera types need to be activated via the Lorex Home app which does place the camera as viewable online but can be removed from the app and still remain on the home center). Firmware needs to be updated with some better features.
