This gel dissolves dead cuticles (but not really the dead skin on the sides of your fingers). You just brush it on and leave for two minutes. Best to use an orange wood stick or a glass cuticle pusher. I used a metal cuticle pusher and it scrapes off some top layer of nail so I won't do that again. Your nail beds look terrific and clean, but if you are dry, this is very drying, so you have to lather up with hand cream afterwards. Even still, your cuticle and adjascent skin will feel very dry for a few days. I like how it looks without having to pay for a manicure.

Item came securely wrapped in bubble wrap which was nice. The item has an outer cap that needs to be pulled off. This was not visible at first but upon looking the bottle over there’s a barely visible clear sticker on the side of the bottle that instructs the person to pull the outer cap upward. The internal application brush cap was extremely hard to unscrew initially and I feared too much pressure to unscrew the cap would cause the bottle to snap off or crack but I finally got it open. After I applied a light coat of the product on all my cuticles I felt a slight tinge which I felt was a good indicator of the exfoliation process. The product does not come with a cuticle pusher and I would advise picking one up from the Dollar Tree or Sally’s to get full benefits of the product. My opinion is although I keep my hands cleaned & moisturized it would still take at least a couple future applications for the product to fully exfoliate the cuticles, but I do believe that it has a benefit.

No instructions were included so I went back to this product page and found instructions in the product info: apply, wait 2 minutes, then use a cuticle tool to push them back. (I don’t use cutters.) The remover was dry after 2 minutes. I had to apply more to push the cuticles back, which I began to do right away after the second application. The product worked fine on the parts of my cuticles that are thin, but did nothing to the parts that are thick. I’m not impressed. My cuticles did not melt away.

I have always had thick cuticles. I tried everything but the only thing that worked was a professional manicure. The technician always commented on how bad they were (I know, that's why I'm here). After watching a video review I bought this.. I am completely blown away by this product...my cuticles have never looked so good. ***** stars

This is a great cuticle softener & remover. I will definitely be buying this product in the future.

Have used Butter London products for years and they are usually outstanding. This bottle's content is thick and not the usual consistency. It doesn't melt the cuticle away and requires a lot of extra work. Actually it is just like an old bottle I had and wanted to replace! If you can find a fresh bottle you will be more than pleased.
