Great tablet for camera surveillance and home automation.
I wanted a brand-name tablet for surveillance camera monitoring and home automation, but didn't want to pay the Apple price. This was perfect. It also has fast charging capabilities. The only negative is that Samsung sent me a dinky 3-foot white cable with a charging block. Note that the tablet is black. The charging block stopped working within a week for some strange reason. I had to buy new charging accessories later.

Nice tablet!
This tablet is a great value! The screen is big and clear, perfect for watching movies or browsing the web. It's also surprisingly snappy for the price. The battery life is decent, and it's lightweight and easy to hold. I mostly use it for casual browsing and streaming, and it does the job perfectly. If you're looking for an affordable tablet that can handle everyday tasks, this is a solid choice.

A Perfect Tablet for Daly Use
I purchased this as a gift for my 85-year-old cousin here and it's just too much tech for her, so I am always doing this and that with it, showing this and that, fixing goofs, and everything a good tablet usage is. So, I know all about this little gem!I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 with the S Pen, this Tab A7 has a touchscreen but no S Pen, just a regular touchscreen pen I use but I am an artist and needed the S7. This A7 is just a tad smaller, has the advantage of a headphone jack (my S7 does not!!!), and operates and performs just as well as its big brother. Terrific sound, gorgeous display, wonderful touchscreen, and is perfect for anyone that wants a fantastic tablet for general, daily use and at a great size and price. It works with any basic capacitive stylus and you can still do a lot with one of those but it is not included. It charges quickly, has a good length of use, and is an all-around great tablet. I am always on it even though I have my other one and other than the size and lack of an active stylus, you would never know the difference!

Great straightforward tablet
My partner and I decided we'd both benefit from having tablets. I got her a refurbished iPad first because she wanted an iPad, as a power computer user I decided I wanted a tablet with a little more freedom. At first, I considered some of the Windows tablets on the market as Windows 10/11 have proven to be my daily driver OS on most of my devices but it appears most drawbacks were processing power.I finally decided I'd look at a Qualcomm-based Android tablet. Knowing Samsung's reputation as a tablet manufacturer, I decided to look into an entry-level Galaxy Tab.My expectations for the tablet I needed came down to the following:-Good streaming capability (to watch Netflix and Twitch)-Lite gaming ability (for console emulation)-Expansive storage capability (for music, video, and other media)-Exceptional network connectivity (for conference calls)Initially, I considered 32GB A7 Lite and A8 Models but customers reviews steered me away from these models due to lack of RAM. Reportedly, 32GB models have 2GB RAM while 64GBs have 3GB. This led me to the 64GB model, which I purchased and picked up a 128GB SD card too. When it arrived the tablet was incredibly easy to set up. In about 15 minutes, I was updated, signed in, and good to go.For streaming, I've tried Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV, Youtube, and Twitch all managed to playback smoothly at 1080p on the fantastic display.Gaming performance was exceptional. Especially in titles like Sonic Dash, Fruit Ninja, Mario Kart, and Call of Duty. For Emulation, I've had great luck with GBA, SNES, and Genesis titles.Conference calls, work email, and productivity apps seem to run smoothly also.My only real criticism is the lack of ability to copy apps to the SD card. But this seems to be commonplace for most modern Android devices now, so paying for the extra storage is worth every penny.Overall, a great tablet for the price point.

Excellent for my 8 year old!
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter's birthday. She originally had a Galaxy Tab A Kids Edition. Nothing was wrong with it (aside from a cracked screen), but we decided to upgrade her to a newer tablet. She mostly uses it for games and YouTube.Pros:Amazing and huge Screen4 speakers that get super loudAble to move apps on SD card with new updateUSB-C portSuper responsive to touch (even with a glass screen protector on)Samsung Kids is a great addition to making the tablet more kid-friendlyCame with a 64 gb SD card so I didn't have to buy oneSet up is easy (but maybe it's because we only own Samsung products)Cons:Battery life only seems slightly better than the Tab ATakes 4 hours to chargeBlue Light Filter is terrible imo (works better on Galaxy phones than non-Amoled tablets)Some apps exclusively use Internal Storage so I'm glad I bought the 64 GB versionSlight lag, but only happened once or twice when I played around on the tabletAll in all, this was a great buy for my daughter's needs.
