First, the looks and design of this so sleek and it looks really good on my keychain.Next, the usage is okay. You do have to unscrew the toothpick part and that takes a little bit to do. Because of this and the fact that they are claiming this is a self-defense tool, they are not getting 5 stars. There is no one in the world that if someone needed a weapon very quickly in a harmful self-defense scenario will have time to unscrew this and then screw it back in upside down. There is just no way. I wish it was just a snap in place.

I love toothpicks. There is nothing worse after eating a meal than having a small bit of food stuck in your teeth, and not being able to do anything about it. So I really wanted a product I could carry around with me and not worry about losing. So I started looking for titanium toothpicks. Titanium is a really light metal, but strong and sanitary, so it seemed that this would be the perfect material. The one issue I had was I was worried about constantly pricking myself with this if I pocketed it or if I had it on my keys. So when I found this, I was thrilled.The toothpick itself is very sharp, solid and strong looking. The container it is in screws tight with an o ring on the tooth pick side - this is great, it means I won't ever have to worry about my toothpick popping out and getting lost! It has a keyring on the other side, so I just added mine to my keys - I always have keys and this way my toothpick is always there too!The other functionality is cool, the toothpick can be screwed in backwards to the case, to produce a longer pick. I don't personally use that, really, because I don't need a longer toothpick. Still, having that as an option is cool, and I suppose backs up the "this is for self defense too" claim - although I'm not sure I would want to stab someone with this, but I guess in desperate times.Still, the bottom line is that this is a metal toothpick that you won't easily lose, you won't easily break, and won't prick you in your pocket, and that alone makes it well worth the price!

nice edc tool. i have it on my keychain and i've had no issues with it falling off from either the attachment point or it unscrewing. nice to have a reusable toothpick. i kind of would like to keep in my pocket, but i fear i would lose it. but very useful hanging with my uncle bill's sliver grippers tweazers and a nail clipper with file ;)

This is a great little device. I recently had some dental work done and have been perpetually annoyed with food stuck in my teeth and the inevitable lack of toothpicks. This little device weighs virtually nothing and does a fabulous job picking food from between teeth. Adds no perceivable bulk to my keychain. A tiny silicone o-ring should prevent it from turning loose on its own. Claims that this is a "self defense tool" are utter BS marketing...unless you are defending against Smurfs.

Works extremely well as a toothpick or a small tool for such activities as pushing reset buttons on electronics, removing a splinter, threatening a tiny attacker like a Chihuahua or Pixie (will not deter large predator cats- PLEASE learn from my mistakes).On the negative side: A little gross since you can't do anything but wipe if off when you are on the go and it's easy to lose being so small.

I just go mine today. Opened the box and could not see the "self defense" item. I almost threw it out in a small zip bag, about the size of one of those hippie hits of LSD. Well maybe not like that but it is a small damn baggie. Then I saw the made in China sign. Oh oh this looks like the self defense womans knife I purchased from another site. Then I unscrewed the tooth pick. Yep a tooth pick. For those looking for a defensive weapon skip this item unless you have plans to combat leprechauns. This is the kind of tool/weapon that if you stick someone it will piss them off and may be the cause of your demise. It is flimsy, it is small, it has to be screwed together (probably the most meaningful aspect of this since if you have to screw it together to use it..........you'll be screwed) Because I collect weird items like this and used them in training as a police training officer, I might keep this thing. But the price would be easier to face at say $5.00. Again leave this alone if you are looking for a defensive weapon.Update.............I sent this back. At the price for this particular item it was too costly to keep as a gimmick. I will repeat, if a person were stabbed with this as a defensive tool the user best be fleet of feet because you just might find out how the suspect can make you eat a toothpick.

The pick is much longer than the image leads you to believe. It is almost 2.75 inches long inside the tube. Joined to the tube it is 4.5 inches long. The pick alone is 2.5 inches long. Nonetheless, I love everything about it. Very sturdy and does exactly what you would expect it to do.

I have ordered these three times now because I have this on my key ring and somehow the toothpick keeps falling out and I lose it. Otherwise, I love the product.

This is so handy to have. Small enough to carry in your pocket, very light and good quality. Just be careful with out and keep it out reach of children.

Ich habe früher immer gerne mal die Silberzahnstocher zum herausschieben verwendet.Diese kranken daran, dass sie über die Zeit anlaufen, in der Hülse sich Dreck sammelt, was der Hygiene natürlich abträglich ist und die Befestigung meist schwach gelöst war, so dass die Geräte dann defekt waren.Dies ist hier alles nicht so. Die Hülse selbst ist der beste Schutz für von außen eindringenden Schmutz. Ebenfalls pfiffig ist, dass die Hülse als Griffverlängerung verwendet werden kann, was "die Arbeit" nach angenehmer macht.Der Stocher selbst ist offensichtlich speziell aussenbehandelt, denn wenn man ihn benutzt, hat man das Gefühl an den Zähnen, als wären Riffel auf der Oberfläche, die das ...öhm... Transportgut packen sollen. Auch das klappt sehr gut und manifestiert den Gedanken, dass sich hier wirklich mal jemand Gedanken gemacht hat.Einzige Hürde: Der Stocher ist wirklich _sehr_ stabil (was ja eigentlich gut ist) und sehr sehr spitz. Die Benutzung erfordert doch eine gewisse Umsicht und Ehrfurcht, sonst besteht Verletzungsgefahr. Dies wiederum nehme ich gerne in Kauf, denn es gibt definitiv keine Stellen, an die man nicht gelangt.

A little pricey, but worth it. Versatile pick, not just for teeth. It can bend though, so do not assume that just because it is titanium it is indestructible. Be gentle and it will last a long time.
