Of the various listing for this battery, I went with this one because the company outlined a better warranty/return/replacement procedure. But I've no complaints so far.The battery itself looked even taped better/tighter than the factory one I removed and it fit with no issues.Came charged at about 80% (which was great because I had to get back to work right away) and I followed the cycling instructions that came with it and so far it seems like it has more battery power than the first one ever did. (about 2-1/2 hours when the whole thing was new. This one is showing 3-1/2 - 4 hours).Will update if anything changes, but I'm very happy with this battery replacement.

Failed in less than three months.
Not much to say. Worked fine, until it didn't. My laptop is suddenly giving a "battery fail" indication and not allowing the laptop to run on battery power, although Windows detects that the battery is charged. Amazon support was no help at all. Waste of money.

5 months now. Easily get 3 hours on my MSI GT72 2QD. Used it 10 or 20 times on battery
No instructions one replacing the old battery but it isn't hard to find them online. Fit just fine. Only time will tell how many cycles it will get. I'll be better about keeping my battery calibrated that might help it last longer.

Battery worked for about 5 seconds. The battery light started going off immediately so I ran the MSI battery calibration program and still nothing. The battery now only functions when plugged in. The company is currently shipping a replacement and their warranty team was very eager to help. Extra points for that, if this new battery works Ill up the review to 5.

Great battery
Was so glad to be able to get this battery quickly, as mine had died and the computer that uses this isn't the type you can just pop the battery out and run on outlet power. We switched it out, followed the charging/discharging instructions, and it works wonderfully! My computer is ready to go.

Perfect fit and the right price.
Battery life is up to par with OEM unit. The thickness of this replacement is the same as the OEM as well. MSI gaming laptops have a history of heat problems because of their slim design. This battery was a perfect fit and has passed all my stress tests.
