New Split Tonkin Bamboo Fly Rod,2 Piece 2 Tips ,7'6" for #5 Line Wt

My new Zhurod arrived yesterday! It was well packaged and arrived unharmed. Although it isn't the exact rod pictured, it was the same finish and specs. 7-1/2' 5WT 2pc. Mine has a full Wells grip which was turned quite nicely, with an up-locking reel seat with threaded hardware. The rod (same blonde color) and tips were perfectly straight and the ferrules fit just right. I saw no glue lines anywhere. The guides were aligned perfectly and the red silk wraps with black tipping were all perfect. The finish was very nice as well. My Orvis reel fits into the seat just right. I'll be practicing in the yard and I can't wait to get it out on the water! Folks, this man turns out a rod as good as any dedicated craftsman would, and I'm glad to support his business. I've read a couple of reviews where people have been a little nit picky. You aren't paying for a $2000.00 rod here! The price? Well, shop around and see if you can even come close.

Received my bamboo rod. Extremely well built and is alive with action. I can’t wait to hit my favorite water next summer to put it to work
