Very solid, good quality for good price
Very reasonable price for a solid tool. Did the job. It's a little odd to use as it doesn't have a release switch, just roll it one way to extend the wire and spin it the other direction to retract it.

Great for pulling wires in tight spots
I have various wire pulling rods and tapes, and figured I didn't need another one. However, I ended up with a job where I needed to pull some wire through a wall with some very dense insulation and a pretty sharp angle. I tried and tried with the other tapes and rods I had without having any luck. I was starting to think maybe there was a 2x4 block in the wall. I decided to take one last go at it and ordered this. Opened it up, walked outside, inserted it into the hole and I kid you not, in a minute I was ready to attach the wire to pull it back. The right tool for the job saying kept resonating in my head, and now I have this for future use. Highly recommended!

Worked!
Bought this to fish a tv line through a wall to give it that sleek picturesque look. It took quite a while to get it past the various studs and insulation, but it eventually got the job done, which made it totally worth the price and effort.

Standard tool
The tip of the tool is too fat. It’s kind of hard to take the fish tape out and put it back in. If it was smoother and longer, it would be a 5 Star.

You Need One of These
If you need to run wires/cables through walls and ceilings, you really need this. I have used this so many times over the years and it's flexible enough to get through small places but strong enough where it doesn't just bend around and not go through. I used my son's for a couple of years now because I didn't think I needed it that often and he only lives about ten minutes away. But after needing it again this past weekend and him being out of town (I still could have gone to his house to get it but I didn't want to), I just ordered my own. It's not that expensive and something you always need at some point so why not have it hanging in the garage for when you do??? Stop thinking about it and just buy it.

Nice for fishing wires
Really nice wire puller. Works easily and well.

Solid
This fish tape was long enough to fish through the hole in the breaker box and down through the floor and then some. I’ve never used one of these, and it was easy enough to learn how to use it. It felt sturdy and solid.
