Does the job
Used to connect an external floodlight to existing cabling inside the garage. It is not suitable for outside use. 1 of my cables was 8mm wide and a very tight fit but it was easy to connect and does the job.

Poor quality not waterproof.
Easy enough to install but very cheap and certainly not weatherproof, I had to wrap mine in tape to seal it from water ingress, cheaply made rubbish for the price.

To narrow at one end.
Not very good, was using it for lighting cable. One end of the box is narrower than the other, had to trim it to get the cable to fit.As to the cable holders, forget it, there is no way it you can get the screw in to tighten. Overall pretty poor.
