Works well

In my CMMG Banshee (notorious among actual users for it's lack of reliability), this taper die helped improve reliability of feeding ammo. I screwed the die ALL the way down to the shell plate, and tapered the entire case. The finished rounds feel noticeably thinner than previous reloads which used more basic crimping. (Now if all the OTHER problems would go away...)

I’ve never had a Redding product that didn’t meet my expectations. Even in times where I’ve had a slight issue their warranty/technical dept will square you away. Some of the best reloading equipment available at any price. They aren’t TO the standard. They ARE the standard.

Improved my groups immediately. The extra step was worth it for me.

Works very well but I found if I set it too deep in my press and did a full stroke it trashed the brass. My fault should have tested a bit more before going full tilt!

I got lazy and used a seat/crimp die with mixed results at best. Crushed or compressed cases, excessive brass shaving, etc. With a separate seating die and this crimp die, the rounds come of the Dillon like factory rounds!
