Paper Edger Scissors-Deckle

Love the edge it cuts.

The metal at the tip of the scissors catches when they are closed all the way. I can still cut with them, but not down to the tip. I have to keep the paper in the throat of the scissors. I'm disappointed that these don't work better. I think a child would find them very frustrating. I wish Fiskars or some other company would make some decent craft scissors, at least in the deckle and stamp perforation patterns that adult artists and crafters use a lot. '

The quality just isn't there, which is a surprise, considering these have the Fiskers brand. However, if Fiskers made a high quality version of these, I'd happily pay 5 times the price - and maybe more...

Good quality. Deckle is a pattern that was seen in the early days of printing, before automation. It is really a non-pattern pattern.This pair of scissors is able to closely reproduce that.

These paper craft scissors are fine for small projects where a decorative edge is desired. Repeated cuts will have to be made if the edge is more than a few inches long. This may be a consideration if projects are large.

Itis easy to use and feels good in my hand

These are only OK, nothing spectacular and they cut somewhat ok depending on the type of paper you are using.

For computer paper, it does fine.

Las quería para dar un toque vintage a fotos que en el pasado tenían este tipo de corte. Perfecto para ello. No es la mayor calidad del mundo pero por el precio poco más se puede pedir.

These are exactly what I wanted. They cut really well, just like you are tearing paper which is the look I wanted.

Die Schnittkanten bei dieser Büttenrandpapierschere sind etwas gefranst... das Papier wird nicht immer "glatt" abgeschnitten. Da man Büttenrandpapier-Optik haben will ist das nicht soooo dramatisch.
