Wow, this snorkel has revolutionized my swim routine. Actually, it's created my swim routine. I'm just over 60 yrs old and way out of shape. Just started lap swim at the public pool. I've always had issues with water in my ears when doing the crawl. This snorkel enabled me to swim continuously for 30-40 minutes today. First time in years, maybe ever. I varied between the crawl and a really slow recovery breast stroke. I just keep my head down and breathe, no lifting of the head.One caution, some folks will be unable to close their nose and will snort water. I don't have that problem, but my wife says she would need some practice.

Works exactly as expected. I like it since I’m a novice lap swimmer and with it I can swim with my head underwater and breathe as much as I need to. I use a nose plug and a can breathe in and out normally with it and it’s very comfortable.

I really like the padded head brace that comes with the snorkel. I wear it each time I do laps for about 40 mins each time and it doesn't bother me at all. It has really helped with my recovery from shoulder surgery. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to work on their stroke or as an aid for shoulder problems.

I woujj oh don’t buy it again. It’s poorly designed with a screw and a nut holding it together. The nut backs off over time and gets lost when it falls off rendering the product useless. Didn’t last 3 months. I’ll be contacting the manufacturer for a new one since Amazon will not replace it. UPDATE : Omid has agreed to supply a new headband to replace the broken one. The padding on the others I’ve tried haven’t been as soft as the Omid on the forehead.

This was nice to have when I was getting used to swimming laps in the pool. It was easy to use. I like the center mouth piece and how it goes straight up over the face to the forehead area. I didn't worry about water splashing in from the side.

It takes a while to get the hang of using the snorkel for lap swimming...Once you do, this is a fine product. It is lightweight and stays in place. Just wish it came with some helpful hints. I had to go on You Tube to watch a few videos.

Works fine; makes laps easier to swim. Can't attest to durability yet as it's only been 2 wks.

In my past experiences with a snorkel, limited as they are, the side mount was always a problem. I kept getting water in my mouth because my tube would go under the surface. I have had NO problems with this using the OMID. Also, the one-way vent at the bottom has helped when I purposely go under water. I don't have to reply on my breath to vacate the tube.
