HG Base and Top Coat
Love this gel system! I've been using it for almost 2 years! I don't ever have any chipping, peeling, cracking, shrinking, nor does the shiny-ness dull (I've had nails on myself and on clients for several weeks and they still look really shiny and as if I just applied the manicure, minus the new nail growth). It's also super easy to remove, doesn't leave behind any residue. I can't recommend this base and gel top coat enough! (Also, I bought this with my own money so I'm definitely not being compensated for anything nor did I receive this for free for a good review).

This was the only one thar seriously kept the color for longer...I've being trying all types... but this was the best..Not so much to say..Just believe in a very demanding woman

The top and base coats give my nails high shine and they last for over 2 weeks, highly worth the price!

My best home manicure
I was raring to review this on the day I did my first gel manicure! It was SO easy to use and my nails were so shiny, hard, and perfect-looking that I was super impressed and wanted to share the word, but instead I waited to see if it would last. News flash: I'm on day SEVEN without so much as a chip! I have weak nails that peel and break on the edges, but I have had none of that with this gel manicure.Both the base and top coats are the perfect consistency to get the thin layers you need in order to cure them perfectly under the LED light. When I would try to get thin layers with regular polish it would tend to dry as I was placing it, and I got used to using slightly thicker coats just so it would go on smoothly. The gel polish, however, doesn't dry in the air so I am able to brush it on easily and can even re-brush any areas that need it until it is perfect. It also comes off of the skin very easily before curing; I just scrape it off with an orangewood stick.The first nail I did was my right thumb, and I wasn't used to the consistency yet so I had an area where the base coat pooled on the side of the thumb and I accidentally cured it that way before I noticed. I did catch it right after I cured it, though, and I was immediately able to file away the extra with my emery board and then continue with the manicure. I love that this polish has that kind of versatility!One more thing to note, just because it happened to me and I wasn't expecting it: this type of polish does leave a sticky layer on the nail after it's cured. I had no idea! But there was a link to the DIY website on the box, and there was a video that explained how to remove that layer (rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad, couldn't have been easier). I do recommend going to the website and watching the video before you get started. If I had done that rather than just jumping in, I wouldn't have been freaking out that I had done it wrong because my nails were all sticky. :) I received the gel polish at a discount for evaluation and review, but my opinions are 100% my own and were formed after using it and seeing how long it lasts.
