For several years I consistently had acrylic nails because I couldn't stand chipped polish. I eventually got sick of being tied to regular appointments and the way the acrylic nails would yellow at the bottom. For several years after that, I rarely painted my nails because it seemed like they were chipped or smudged almost immediately. Then gel polish was invented and even better, gel polish kits for at-home application! I received the full SensatioNail kit (with light & polish) as a gift and purchased this Essentials kit to refill the items I was running low on. I love that they sell this "refill" kit on its own - it's really inexpensive and the sizes of each item make it so that I'm usually running low on everything at the same time. The quality of this kit seems on par with gel manicures I've gotten at the salon and I'll definitely buy again! Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. I kind of knew what I am buying as I used to get this product from the local store and was quite happy with it. Unfortunately, the local store doesn't carry it anymore, so I looked it up at Amazon. I like this set, easy to use and saves a lot of money for your nailcare. There was an issue with the delivery and the seller solved it right away. I would definitely recommend this product.

This was my first foray into at home gel polish,and couldn't have picked a better product. It works great, and comes with everything you need,and detailed instructions. Now I can have professional looking nails I do myself at a fraction of the cost. It does take some practice to learn how to apply correctly, but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it.

I have been using Sensational Gel Nail products for several years. I had been going to a salon for manicures and became very sensitive to some of the products. Had to stop using much of anything on my nails but missed pretty nails. Heard about Sensational and tried it. Never stopped ! At first the colors were very limited. As i am older I didn't care for some of the "new colors" that the younger women wear but they have now expanded the selection and I have even tried mixing them. I have read that you can even use regular polish if you let it dry very good before adding the top coat it works but haven't tried that yet. My main objection is removing them but if I remember to buff the surface first it helps. Also you have to be very careful about the edges and cuticle area as the polish tends to lift. After a few tries you can get a very nice look that does stay about 2 weeks with no chipping.

The basic refill essentials

Normally I hate when people review sellers in the product reviews, but there's no other option for leaving feedback on the quality of the product received and no contact info for the sellers. The primer had completely leaked out and the clear gel polish bottle was in bad shape. The bottom of the bottle is now clear after removing all the loose paint that was chipping. I bought this over a year ago though so it's not like I can request a refund because I didn't open the box to inspect it before storing until I needed it. For the product itself, this is my second purchase of this kit. It's helpful to have all the pieces in one kit and I really like Sensational gel polish. It's always the base and top coat I use no matter what brand of color polish I use.

I love these products from Sensationail. At first it was a little difficult to do it myself, but the Sensationail website has a lot of videos that that you can watch to get the most out of their gel polish. Capping the nail with the base coat and gel polish is key to making it last a long time. Also don't let a lot of the polish gather around the cuticle area. I like the essentials kit because it comes with the cleanser and the wipes which are hard to find in my area.

By far my favorite at home gel nail polish brand, and I have tried all that the drugstores have to offer. I bought this kit because I just needed the refill, and I am very happy with my purchase. This kit is very worth it if you are looking to do at home gel nail manicures. The cleaner is kind of pointless, you can just use regular rubbing alcohol. But the primer and gel base/top coat is vital to the success of the at home system. Highly recommended!

I brought the lamp with some colours and a peel off base coat but I needed something that would help keep the gel on for longer and this kit contains everything you need to accomplish this. I especially love the primer it really does make a difference and keeps your nails nice and healthy when the polish is removed.

This saves so much time and money. Easy, do-it-yourself gel nails, pretty much fool-proof. Just this set and the UV lamp pay for themselves in no time in comparison with having them done at a salon. No-brainer.

Packaging a little tatty but products inside great. Came in good time. Would recommend.
