CF-FF-120-2P 120mm Fan Filter 2x Pack

They are doing the job I need them for, but I would buy a better product if I was using them on my computer. The foam inside is too open-cell to do to much of a job, I'm thinking about cutting and using some denser foam in mine. I feel its better to allow a little more cut in air flow, but get a lot better filtering. TMHO!

This is a two pack set of dust filters, they can be hard to seperate at first but a pair of pliers or tweezers make it easy. the filter is attached to a 120mm fan with four fan screws which are NOT included so make sure you have four for each filter. I bought a few sofar and the bad part is that there were two different filter densities - one was very fine and the other was an open mesh type like you'd see in a fish tank filter.

There's two varieties of cheap 120mm fan filters out there. This one is the 2nd style, seems a little more restrictive than the other one I've bought-- but this filter also has a slightly bigger foam media (a few millimeters larger on each side), which might be beneficial in some applications.For me, I needed the slightly larger filtered area so it was perfect. (note: filtered area, not overall frame size, is what I'm talking about).

They do restrict airflow some but they do stop most of the dust. I have this on a fan that is mounted on the outside of my case, an added benefit is they cut down noise as well.

They're fan filters for intake fans. What else is there to say?Easy to install and clean. Cuts my need to blow out heatsinks or case in about half.

Bought for my custom aquarium tank canopy and they fit far better than I had hoped for. Great option for keeping the fans from sucking in dust and dirt!
