I bought this to see how it compares to the SIGG bottles I have been using. It doesn't fail to deliver!The Laken bottle is very lightweight (negligable difference with SIGG botles, especially when filled) and the color sceme is very pleasing.Paintjob seems to be high quality and to my surprise the plastic cap looks good too (not always the case with SIGG).The treading for the cap is somewhat fine, requiring about double the rotations to (un-)screw the cap compared to SIGG. On the other hand, the threaded inset in the bottle is positioned in a nicer way than in my SIGG bottles, both from an aesthetic and practical perspective.Based on tapping the aluminium and listening to the pitch I would say the walls are slightly thicker than SIGG bottles, which is a good thing because they dent far too easily.Overal a very nice product, at a decent price, that could become perfect if they used a different threading. Would recommend this over SIGG unless the extra rotations are a big deal for you.
