Worked perfect
I needed to replace a drain in a walk-in tub (the other one was bent). It worked perfect and was easy to install.

5 minute job
This kit is super easy to install and comes with two fittings for both kinds of drain threads. Don’t break off the old one trying to get to out. Pop it up and spray some WD40in the center of drain where threads are and let it set first if it doesn’t turn easily.

Broken after 3 uses, no longer stays in "closed" position. Fixed it with a screwdriver
Product was easy to put together and install, but only worked for a few uses. Now it will "click" shut but never actually catch in the closed position. It just pops and does nothing but be a dirty little bath plug. Bummer.Edit: Fixed it with a screwdriver and working again, though the small brass nut is rust resistant, the included washer is not and has rusted into my tub drain now. Still works though.

Horrid instructions
I followed the instructions on the back of the product. It said to test if it fit into my drain. Upon finding it did not, I went to the next step of unscrewing it. All of the pieces flew apart my kitchen like a can of snakes. I spent an hour looking up assembly videos trying to put it back together (since there are ZERO instructions on the back of how to do so) to no avail. When I thought I finally got it, it would not pop properly, and it once again flew all over my kitchen.I would get another one, but I would once again get to step 4 and have another can of snakes. Am I an idiot? I see so many reviews saying how easy it is to put back together

Perfect replacement
Everything went together easily and it works nicely. The washer is it's weak link, but still holds up for better than a year for us.

Not actually universal
The thread options for this were great. However, when installed (as tight as possible) and pushed down, the rubber doesn’t make contact with the drain in bath tub. So it’s useless.
