BLANCO, Anthracite 519450 PRECIS CASCADE SILGRANIT Undermount Kitchen Sink with Colander

We've had this sink for 9 months and I feel like I can now offer my informed opinion. It is a wonderful product; much better than I ever expected. I worried about the black finish showing mineral deposits or just looking dirty or hazy but it doesn't. The only thing that will temporarily mar the finish is powder based cleaners like SoftScrub or Ajax. They don't damage it but they do sit on the surface and it takes some work to get the powder rinsed off. Every 6 wks or so, I dry the sink and then rub it with a few drops of olive oil on a paper towel. Makes it look like new. The layout of this design is brilliant. The small elevated section is wonderful for draining pasta and keeping it out of the water or for washing vegetables and keeping the clean ones out of the main sink. The stainless basket that fits the right hand section is great for sponges/scrubber or dirty silver wear or drip drying a few dishes. If there is any negative it would be that the sink doesn't come with a basket/strainer for the drain. However, it can be purchased separately.Update After 2 Years: Looks like new and I still love it!Update After 3+ Years: Still looks like new; still love it!Update After 6+ Years: Still looks like new; still love it!

THIS IS MY SECOND BLANCO SINK, AND THEY ARE AMAZING. I HAVE THE CAFE BROWN IN MY LAUNDRY ROOM; IT IS ABOUT 6 YEARS OLD AND STILL LOOKS NEW. WE ARE REMODELING OUR HOUSE IN WARM GRAY AND COOL BROWN TONES, SO I ORDERED THE TRUFFLE FOR MY KITCHEN. I WAS CONCERNED THAT THE TONE WOULD NOT MATCH, BUT IT IS GOING TO WORK OUT FINE. I WAS ABLE TO FIND A DESCRIPTION OF THE COLOR WHICH STATED IT IS AN EARTHY TAUPE. WITH TAUPE BEING A COOL BROWN COLOR, I WENT FOR IT. IT IS PERFECT AND GORGEOUS. WE ARE ABOUT 3 MONTHS OUT FROM THE KITCHEN GOING IN, AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT ALL COME TOGETHER.

We’ve only had this sink installed for a week. I love the size of it. The veggie basket is convenient and I appreciate being able to keep a section a bit separate. You can’t really find a 33” under mount , 2 compartment composite sink so this was a good solution. We debated between white and grey with our white counters with grey marbling and chose white. We wish we’d chose grey. They white shows every bit of coffee ground, crumb etc that lands in the sink. I feel like I’m constantly needing to clean it. BUT, it is easy to clean and doesn’t seem like it will stain. If it does I will come back and add to review.

It’s great for a minimally used sink, but only because I don’t want to have to clean it all the time if light colored liquids or food get on it.

I am very upset. Just spent a lot of money and I received damage sink . It’s a luxury company and provided strong and good quality sink. How strong is this sink? It’s a big question. Another part I need pay to return them back . Will contact with Amazon to help.

We bought this sink while remodeling our kitchen and have found it to be the best sink: easy to clean, doesn't stain, and looks brand new even after 3 plus years of use.

Really beautiful sink, I was skeptical about having it shipped but it arrived no problem. It is shockingly much lighter than I expected, you can pick it up with one hand easily. The color and texture are fantastic and while I ideally wanted a single sink, I have to admit the drying shelf is quite nice. The basket is great for draining pasta or washing vegetables, or just drying kitchen utensils. The remaining area is still bigger than the old sink I had too. It's deep enough to be very useful but still allows my slide out garbage can to fit under. Time will tell how durable it is but I did splurge on the Blanco grid for it. I also bought a kohler brass drain insert which I think looks nicer than the standard shiny chrome ones with this color.

I can't stress enough how much I love this sink. The finish is beautiful, it's easy to keep clean, it still looks new after a year of wear and tear, but most importantly: the basket/cascade area is wonderful and versatile, able to accommodate a wide range of tasks. Sure, it's great for air drying dishes or washed veggies, but it's also handy for drying large cutting boards by standing them between the basket and the sink edge. And seriously, everything fits in this huge, deep sink. I was a little worried that it might be shallow compared to other 'deep sinks'; however, since it is an under-mount you gain an extra inch of depth due to the countertop. Washing 14" fry pans, dutch ovens, large baking sheets, whatever... they all fit easily. I also bought the smaller prep sink for my butlers pantry, and it too is wonderful.
