Perfect tent for GLAMPING! I see no reason to suffer in the great outdoors... I purchased the TAN colored tent which caught my eye because all tents are "sporty" with stripes and such. A canvas tent is heavy and expensive so Standing Room Tents was the perfect alternative and I'm so glad I discovered it. It was delivered early and was ridiculously easy to set up. The hardest part was finding the correct canopy. Be sure to buy a canopy that does NOT have a center pole. You need to purchase a 'cathedral' style canopy. It works either way but your tent ceiling will drape down at about 6'hight instead of the peaked ceiling which the tent accommodates. Very roomy, with a 22" high QUEEN Air mattress. I was able to purchase a lightweight chandelier to add battery operated LED candlesticks on Amazon which gave us all a good laugh but it was the best night sleep ever. Canopies wont hold rain for long so I recommend sealing the seams with weatherproofing and tarping overhead in case of heavy rains. With flags and bunting we will be converting this tent into our Clan Castle at a mountain Scottish event. Consider this tent when planning a romantic retreat for someone special! It's super easy and affordable.

Have not taken it out to camp in yet, but did set it up to see if one man can set it up. One man can, it took me about 15 minutes. We camp fairly often and our old tent was about wore out and a little too small. This one is quite large and has plenty of room in it. We can now camp in luxury without having to put half our stuff outside the tent. What I received does not match the picture but is a close resemblance of it. It has 2 large entryways that open to the side, 2 large windows and plenty of straps to connect it to your frame. It does not come with a matching cover, at least mine did not. The outside is coyote tan and the floor is olive drab green. The floor is a big plus for camping since it will stop snakes from cuddling up next you while you sleep. (seen that too many times) While this is not military quality, by any means, it does remind me of some of the military tents that I did use while on active duty in the 90's. I'll field test this very soon and update the review. For right now I'll leave it at 3 stars as I'm unsure of how it will stand up over time. Pros: Very large cabin area Very large entryways, front and back. Very large windows for ventilation Easy for one man to put up Attached floor that seems like it would be water resistant.Cons: No included matching cover No stakes included Very thin and seemingly weak ties for the frame legs OK we took it out for the weekend. Set up on site was less than 5 minutes on very rocky terrain, so I had a hard time with staking it down. We had high gusting winds that shook the tent very well but it stayed put. I was surprised that the ties for the frame legs help up. We also had a short cloud burst and we stayed nice and dry. Since it survived a Texas torture test, I'll give it 5 stars even though I think it should have come with a matching cover.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tent! I thought about getting it a few years ago but was turned off by the negative reviews. But I decided to look at it again after our Instant Tent broke after 3 uses. It looks like the company listened to the reviews and really reworked it since then to address the majority of flaws. It was super simple to set up and while I did have my husband's help, I'm positive I could do it all alone. We camped at a music festival mid May in Florida and everyone we camped with was jealous of the massive windows that allowed us to stay way cooler than them in their tents. We did get some heavy blowing rain at one point and we did take on a little bit of water around the perimeter but we had not sealed it as suggested and will do so before using again and we do have the xl model which has doors on each side so it might have to do with the zippers. Speaking of zippers, this was the very first tent I've used and not despised the zippers. We are now considering upgrading to a 10 x 20 canopy and getting another tent and having a lounge area attached to the front of our sleeping area that can be left open on 3 sides or closed up due to bugs or rain.
