Morrisons Chopped Tomatoes 400g

Amazon has asked me to review this unique product. Being one of the few lucky enough to have invested, I felt it churlish to refuse, especially when others may be planning to put down some heafty coin on this delicacy.Firstly, wow! From the second the silent anticipation of the kitchen was shattered by the inrush of air from the piercing of the lid by way of can opener, I knew this would truly be a life-changing moment I would be unable to recreate.The smooth glide of shearing metal under torqued, metallic teeth swam over my body like a south Adriatic breaker at the height of summer.The smell afforded to me was, succulent, sweet and yet balanced by a tart acidity most often associated with tomatoes.I could barely contain my anticipation as the final teasing 'pop' of the aluminium freed the ruby treasures from its cylindrical encapsulation.Scarcely could I believe my eyes as they set upon the wonder that lay huddled within; a near spiritual orgasm shook my soul as my senses befell the contents...Tomatoes...Chopped.Was the experience worth paying a little bit more than a trip to Aldi? Well, I'll let you decide, but to bring some context, this experience was truly the greatest of my life, eclipsing my wedding, birth of my two beloved children, and supporting role as 'boy eating burger' in the widely lauded Inverness Rollerbowl advert of the late 1980s.Would you actually find tomatoes??? Chopped?? in any other offerings on the market today? I sincerely doubt it.Bravo, Morrisons, Bravo.

Nice and thick. Not watery like some cheap toms

These are great tasting chopped tomatoes from Morrisons. They're great to make your own pasta sauces or to add to casseroles, etc.The tomatoes are good quality and you get a tasty juice included that isn't too watery.I'll usually use these to make a Bolognese by adding puree, onions, etc.Definitely well recommended.

Addition to a supper dish with ham.

Really good tomatoes, great flavour and one if my cupboard staples. Always have the in for spag bol or chillie

The tomatoes are mainly used for when I make sources therefore they good for a bottom base but realistically they are poo if they are on there own other than that they’re good for basic sources when I add extra seasoning I.e garlic basil origami for my Italian sources are used for pasta other than that I’ll give a 3 star for basic
