The reason why I have this at home is that I wanted to prevent access to certain drawers where I have dangerous equipment (cooking equipment, do not be alarmed). This item works wonders for regular children and maybe toddlers which are experimenting and walking around all day long. However, the repeated use of it and if it's done with enough strength, make it lose and after a while, it opens with a simple pull.Be aware, that there is a way to avoid this to happen. If you place the device facing different directions, so the cable is not straight, it's way more likely it won't ever break. The ones I installed that I left straight both have broken. The one I installed with this other method is still there surviving.On another note, there is certainly someone that tried to open the cabinet with scissors once and it survived. Scissors didn't cut it through. I can not talk about gardening or other kinds of heavy-duty scissors, but it will survive the regular ones for sure.

Easy to change code. Easy to open. This will stick to your wall and you will not be able to get it off

Ordered the 2 pack. Reset both the codes on them and tested them several times to makes sure the new codes actually worked. Cleaned off the freezer and stuck the locks on. Simple.. Right? Wrong... Went to open the lock and it won't open with the code. The 2nd lock works great but the 1st once will not open. I had my doubts about these when I first seen them. I thought that if someone wanted to break in they could just pull till they pop off. No way. That is not happening. THEY ARE STUCK ON THERE AND NEVER COMING OFF. So now I havey freezer lock that is stuck on so tight and the code does not work. I tried to use the little key again that they give you to set the codes but that doesn't work either. How do you return this if it's stuck on your freezer and you can't get it off?? Help!!!! My ice cream is in the freezer.

The media could not be loaded. I wanted to love this so much!! I wanted to so badly give this a 5 star ⭐️ rating!! But I can’t ! 😭 I placed it in the wrong spot (just a tad too far to click in) and I removed it maybe a minute after realizing the lock wouldn’t reach . There were no instructions on how to best remove this. The adhesive was extremely sticky which could be a good thing so that the item adheres to the wall but with that said, I wasn’t able to pull it off using my fingers. I ended up using the back of the hammer and it completely ripped the paint off my wall! Again there were no instructions on if you miss-placed it. Thankfully this came with two and I was able to use a piece from the second one to complete the one that was already stuck to my door. Who knows what my door will look like once I take this off 🫣.I’ve been using this product for three days now and I have four kids. I gave it a three star because it has held up pretty well. I’m using it on my children’s closet to keep them from getting into their clothing. I hope this helps inform others to be careful when finding placing.

Do not be fooled once you peel off the cover and apply to fridge this thing will NEVER come off !! EVER !! was shocked at how strong the seal was grown man 6'2 210 athletic enough to bench 330lbs and I had no chance of getting it off once set ! I applied one then realized it was crooked about a minute later attempted to move NOT HAPPENING!!
