LIXADA Water Bladder Tube Cover Hydration Tube Sleeve Insulation Hose Cover Thermal Drink Tube Sleeve Cover

I added this to my camelbak and it was hard to put on, a bit tight but I was able to get it in all the way with a little bit of elbow grease. Not sure is making a difference in keeping my water in the tube cooler.

I bought two tube covers and struggled for 2 hrs getting the first one on. It is understandable because the fabric needs to be tight but it’s so hard to push on!For the second I soaks the tube cover and wet the tube and it was on in less than 5 minutes! I needed to re-wet everything 3 more times as I went, but it was so easy. It just has to dry and Voilà!!

Even though the product information says it won't work on a CamelBak it doesn't really tell you why. I decided to take a chance and found out why. I have an older CamelBak and the fabric would not slide onto the tube. It wasn't the size of the tube but the tube itself. I tried cleaning the tube thinking it was catching on dirt and grime. It wasn't. The minute I used a different tube the fabric slid on easily. I put a dab of glue on the ends so the stitching would not come undone and it also helps keep the fabric in place. The real question - did it help - yes, I could tell a difference in the temperature of the water in the tube. I was walking in temps near 100F and even though the water warmed up it never got hot.

All water bottle hoses have fittings to connect to the bag. This will not some close to fitting over them to allow it to insulate the hose itself. Useless design

Took a few minutes to slip on, fits nice and snug and is the perfect length and inner diameter for an uncut Hydrapak or Camelback hose and can be shortened as needed. Out in the heat and sun it works as intended and saves me from having to force water back inside the bladder after each drink to keep the water in the hose from being super hot.

Material is sturdy but doesn’t insulate well after a short time (less than 30 minutes on a warm day)

Bought this for an osprey hydration pack. As other reviews say the sleeve is tight fitting. Here is how I fitted it:Remove the mouth piece from the water tube, ensure the water tube is outside of any other clips.Put a chopstick in the end of the water tube, pull the sleeve over the chopstick and start pushing it along the water tube.Hold the chopstick where it meets the water tube, bunch up the material at that point, then pull it down the water tube, repeat.At the end, you can tug on the end of the insulation at the connecting point of the tube.Perfect length!

This was great to prevent freezing while we were hiking in high altitude. Easy to put on.

I only just installed this insulator but it seems very good. At first I thought it was too tight, it takes a small amount of effort to install, but I quickly realized it is exactly the right size.

Hard to get on but managed it in less than 30 min. Seller should include the maximum allowable tube diameter to avoid unhappy customers. Did not fray or unravel while wrestling with it

I used this while snowshoeing and skiing. Water froze in the entire tube. The neoprene foam is very thin and this product is not suitable for any winter activity. Look elsewhere.

Make sure the insulation will fit your water hose …
