Put together easily size was what I needed to get a gate for my deck. Only thing there weren’t enough screws lacked 4 luckly had some I could use.

I have read the reviews of this product. There were said to be a few quality issues. I also have the issue on one bracket not at 90 degree right angle. But the package I received was well packed, the metal brackets are good quality thick steel bars, with a lot of pre-drill holes for enough screws to make the frame of your gate sturdy. Even the screws are well-made, as my weak point, but I only have one screw head stripped. Make sure the 2x4’s are lined up literally. It took me 30 minutes to put together a 42x84 gate frame.

Easy to put together, especially if you read the directions first. I didn’t read close enough so I had to make some additional cuts. Otherwise, gate feels strong and it worked really well for me being so adjustable. My only complaint is that the welding at certain corners made it hard to make the wood flush against the metal. So I hammered a couple corners into a rounded shape and they fit just fine.

Great value for the price, i was able to put this together with little to no experience in wood working. I was very impressed with the results, the gate functions really well, the screws provided could be better but just go slow and you wont strip them.

This gate has a problem; the holes in the brackets are not countersunk so the wood does not lay flat\tight against the brackets. So you'll need to put countersinks in the bracket mounting holes. The hardware is crap, cheap steel from you know where. It will make a strong gate, I just wish they would include grade 5 screws and a decent driver bit; or drop the driver bit and include the grade 5 screws;most of us have quality driver bits on hand.

We live in central texas were the soil is.... rough on gates and fences. This unit was purchased to rebuild our residential gate as part of a fence renovation. The metal frame is solid, the hinges are attached very well and the installation was straight forward. If I had one suggestion it would be recess out the screw holes on the support bars so that the screw head matted closer to the metal for final install. But that is a suggestion and not a slight. Our gate is solid, does not sag, and most of all my wife is very pleased with the end result! Thank you.

We bought this to complete the install of our new fence. When I got it, I thought there is no way it will hold the weight of 8 pine pickets without saging. This thing is a beast! Works like a champ.

IKEA style directions. Delivered in brown box without label or product info. Screws were cheap and a few came without usable heads. Had to use longer screws to mount to post since they were not included and we’re a few screws short since some were not usable. Would be great if longer screws were included to mount to post. Once gate kit/ frame is complete it looks good and it is sturdy. Other brands have been easier to install but this will work with another person assisting. Definitely a two person install job.

Description says “heavy duty” however product was cheaply made with thin gauge metal. You’re better off slapping on a few shelf brackets than wasting your money on this. Homedepot brand was much better and cheaper. Came in a cheaply packaged box. Don’t waste your time or money. I returned this and as of this review still haven’t received my money back!
