So after a recent injury, where I am unable to walk for several months, I have to revert back to using my upper body rather than my legs. I have a pick up truck, and it is a one step into the truck, meaning you have to step on a step to climb in. Without the use of my leg, it’s very difficult to enter the vehicle. I can drive or be a passenger.Before I got this, I had to grab onto the steering wheel, get my good leg up and force my body up with my arm strength, and it was very difficult to turn around and jump in, with this product, you just put it into the door jam a little hook on the door where the door locks around the latches, one of the strongest part of the door, which keeps the door closed.All you do is place this Internet jam and you can use that to pick yourself up from the lower level so you don’t have to strain yourself. I have a lock shoulder that needs a replacement so it’s very difficult and painful for me to get into a vehicle. However, I prefer using this rather than calling an ambulance service that will cost me $500 +5 dollars per mile wherever I need to go. This one tool will save me thousands of dollars for my doctors appointments and just getting out to go shopping.It’s not as dirty as I hoped it would be but it does hold up my weight and I am over 200 pounds, maybe 220 pounds, and it easily helps me get into the vehicle although I am cautious with it because you never know with anything if the door is going to break or the little locking mechanism or this piece will break . So far it’s been very sturdy, although it does feel like it could be less sturdy than you think. It does hold my weight, so I do appreciate the structure and sturdiness of this product. The feel might feel less dirty, but it is definitely a better way to enter your vehicle. It also has the safety features on it, which is a nice thing to have in your vehicle. I bought two of them or came with two in a package so I have one for each door. I bought a separate package from another company before hand which I didn’t really like and I keep that in my second vehicle. It does work to help me into the vehicle, but it is definitely going to break eventually and I’m hoping that I don’t have to continue to use this once I am healed. This product is great, but I would still prefer not to have to use it as it is the same with the previous purchase not from the vendor.If you need to get into a car, any of these will help you, but I do prefer this, although I’m sure there are better or worse out there however, this just works just the way it supposed to. So if you’re looking for something by this product.

This has been amazing! I didn't even know such a thing existed! It really helps getting in and out of cars/vans. I would recommend it even to people who are getting older and are not handicapped!!!! Just the extra handhold/support is great. The only annoying thing is the design that puts a flashlight button on the top front. It is a joke with us now because we say that it is electric and that shows that it is working. So it is furo now- always turns on every time I use it!!!!!!

We purchased the tool to assist our elderly mother agrees to and from the passenger seat. It works well for her needs.

It made getting out the car so much easier. Held firmly to the door hatch providing a solid grip.

The physical therapist recommended this product. The product is as described...so far, so good.

I liked the construction and materials. easy to put on the latch. Son helped my husband into and out of car. He said if he stood straight up it would work but he doesn't and leaning on the handle it was too wobbly. too jiggly for what we needed so returned it.

It is faultless I am a 100% Wheelchair ♿️ user due to untreatable Osteoporosis ect. Over past 3yrs my condition has deteriated this item gives me enhanced transfering safety.

I bought one for myself and one for my neighbour. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit her Renault car, the door latch is smaller. I have had to return it. Ours is super and my husband finds it a great help getting out of the car.

Returned because it would not fit into the door latch.

Nicely packaged. Plus when took out of the box it looks & feels good quality. Haven’t used it yet. But can’t see any issues.
