As advertised, works great and saves the hassle presented with a traditional zip-tie.
(Updated Review)Ok so perhaps they aren't the most intuitive little pieces of plastic or perhaps I tried first using them on an international trip with little to no sleep but stand corrected in that these do in fact work! Previously I was apparently inserting the tab in backwards which resulted in the product not working as advertised. That said, they are on the expensive side for sure but are great because unlike a traditional zip-tie you don't need to figure out a means of trying to cut them off afterwards which drove me nuts! Now I will be able to simply pull the tab and remove them on my own.I would also like to point out that its a great seller who stands by their product and is clearly supportive of their goods. Upon reading my initial review Mike reached out with the intent of correcting the problem and sure enough he did.Give them a shot.(Original Review)- - - - - - - - - -I have to admit I was extremely excited to have found these... Sure they are expensive but to be honest I didn't care -- I didn't care that is assuming they would have worked as described! To say "pick proof" is an absolute joke... They effortlessly slide open and closed without an ounce of effort. In concept sure it's great but they simply do not work. I went to use them for the first time and check out my experience.

Felt safe to travel with these
I put them on backwards the first time, so people need to pay attention to the directions. Put on correctly they were best removed by cutting or pulling very hard which destroys the loop...and of course when you pick up your checked luggage you will know when the luggage has been opened. The resulting plastic "tail" sticks out far enough after you put it on, that I decided to make it shorter by cutting which does not affect the security of the lock. I thought it worked extremely well...and I am glad I found them.

simple and excellent theft deterrent
The problem with TSA-approved locks is that they anyone with a set of TSA keys can open the lock without you ever knowing, and if some baggage handler or other person with behind the scenes access to your checked luggage nicks something, you generally don't realize it until you open your bag once you get to your destination. That's where these little dandies come in.Just like those metal industrial seals that are used to show when someone accesses something sensitive, each one has a unique ID code. If someone opens your luggage, you will know as soon as you get your bag off the luggage carousel because the seal will be gone, and even if some clever thief happens to have also bought himself a set of these to try to replace yours, the probability of the code matching is near zero. You could certainly just use cheap zip ties, and even use ones in something other than black or white, etc. But for me, if I'm checking anything of value or importance in my luggage, the cost of these as a theft deterrent is worth it.

Works perfect!!! Love!!
First time traveling round trip that none of my luggage got checked by TSA once!!! LolWent to Disney with 4 giant suitcases round trip and these were amazing!! Felt so secure!! We fly there yearly for last 8 years. Before that I would go to vegas 1-2x year. I have NEVER had 1 trip until now that TSA did not go through at least 1 bag and leave a slip!!I also didnt read the listing and was shocked when all the packages showed up!! I was thinking I was paying for just 1 package. That was a nice surprise!! We have plenty to use to secure other things now.Simple but great design and it gives you PEACE OF MIND!! That is worth every penny.

Great value
I haven't traveled yet, but soon. Out of curiosity I engaged one and opened the tab to release. It happened to be a defective one and the "locking" part would slide either way. The second one was fine. Another review said that Arthritic people might have difficulty pulling the tab. I agree. Also fancy painted nails aren't going to like them. I encourage testing after putting one on a bag, but if that one is the only defective item, it's a really good deal! You get a lot of them. I don't travel much so maybe I'll be a "Lock Fairy" at the airport :) I can play Oprah. A lock for you...a lock for you a lock for everyone!

The best luggage seal that doesn't require a blade to open
TL;DR: I don't check luggage without these. The best a luggage lock can do is discourage casual pilfering and let you know when someone's opened your luggage. These seals are as simple and easy to use as plastic cable ties. But to open a cable tie, you need something sharp...which is a problem when travelling by air. (I speak from personal experience at CPH.) These seals can be opened by hand. And you can confirm that the seal on your bag at your destination is the same one you applied before departure.Sure, a zipper lock isn't a guarantee against opening. But it improves your odds considerably.

A solution in search of a problem.
This screams SEARCH ME! Never had so much hassle in all my travel days. All cases with this on it were searched, locks removed and NOT replaced. It's a huge target in international travel. Huge waste of money.

good product
The Pick Proof Seals - TSA Accepted Luggage Locks needed a sharp tool [fingernail clipper] to remove. Other than that they worked well and I could lock the zipper pulls to a fixed part of my roll aboard and my back pack too.
