I can find nothing to criticise, so obviously I am delighted with my purchase as a book. Every ardent Stone Henge entusiast ought to own one, imo. The content of this book is superb: up to date and concise, using cuttung edge tech and excellent archaeology. But now the caveat. The post packaging is absolutely inadequate, especially for a relatively expensive book. Putting large heavy books like this one inside a single-skinned cardboard packet is as dull as mud. Books of this kind need a wrapping of larger cell bubble-wrap, or such. Damaged book spines and creased pages can often result. My book is now in a specialist book compression vice. It ought to be good in a while. Enough said. It's extremely un-common for me to complain, but in this instance I am compelled to. It is "wise" to; imo.
