Boysenberry Fancy Syrup

Amazing, since I can't find Boysenberry syrup in grocery stores anymore.

I'm so happy i could order this boysenberry syrup because I couldn't find it in any store. It is so good, and has just 3 ingredients, no chemicals or artificial additives. I will definitely buy it again. If i find that they also have blueberry syrup i will buy that also since that is another item i could not find in stores. The syrup is not too thick, but it is not runny. The price is higher than I was hoping, but since i don't use much and only once a week on pancakes, it will last a while for me. Packaging was extraordinarily done, making it almost impossible to break during shipping. Also, the bottle top was sealed to prevent the cap from loosening.

We used it on French toast. It is not syrupy at all. I would give it 5 stars (except for the price) after shipping, this little gem cost me $17 and some change, what!? And yes I still went ahead and ordered it. I’ll try to find it local next time. I loved it but others at the table had different opinions: too watery, why call it syrup? Too expensive (agreed), not sweet enough, if it didn’t say blackberry on the label you wouldn’t know it. These people had been used to a now discontinued popular brand of blackberry syrup. I however really liked that it wasn’t too sweet, it was more fluid than syrupy, the flavor was really good in my opinion. No added anything except sugar. I will definitely look for this product locally.

Well, it's not like Smuckers Boysenberry Syrup by a long shot, which is disappointing since that's what I was searching for a replacement for since they discontinued it. The Pioneer Valley syrup lacks high fructose corn syrup; maybe that's what made Smuckers so good. This version tastes more watered down and less sweet. My husband used the words "more natural" to describe the difference. I didn't hate it but it's not what I hoped for since Smuckers set my expectations years ago. I most likely won't reorder.

This syrup is made from 100% boysenberry juice without artificial ingredients. This is the best tasting boysenberry syrup I have found. Also the packaging is amazing. You could run over the box with a truck and likely not damage the bottle. Also a nice thank you note in each box!

I've been unable to find Boysenberry syrup anywhere in my area. I'll be buying more of this syrup.
