Use this hub in my office, to connect my laptop and additional monitor. Would've liked additional outlets for additional devices, but if you just need alternative types of outlets, this does the job.

I bought this to allow driving an HDMI monitor off of my Chromebook and other laptops. It has been tested on the Chromebook only so far. This unit allows me to add an HDMI port, a VGA port, a USB-A port and a power input USB-C port. In my testing I ignored the VGA port. All ports work simultaneously once connected to a USB-C on the Chromebook. The expansion USB-C port only supports supplying power to the Chromebook and USB devices, no USB-C thumb drive was recognized. I was able to utilize full 1980x1024 monitor resolution as an additional monitor (second desktop) even though the Chromebook screen was lower resolution than that. The device is quite small and will travel easily if needed, it also does not require external power to function (operates on USB power only). The unit connects to the source computer via USB-C but somewhat frees up a same port by allowing the USB-C charger to connect to it rather than another port on the source computer. It may be compatible with Macbooks but I cannot verify that. I did not attempt to connect it to a USB-C expansion hub off the source computer. You might be able to hang a USB expansion hub off the USB-A port if you need more ports. If your source computer has at least 2 USB-C ports I can confidently recommend this unit, but you may be very satisfied with this even if you don't have 2 ports. Personally I am fully satisfied with my purchase.

I have been using this atleast 2 years now, 2-3 days, when visiting the office...it's durable and the carry case is very convenient and a great touch..I use it to connect VGA...while connected I have also used the other ports to charge phone and other minor things..

This USB-C hub works perfectly. All ports perform well, transfer speeds are fast, and the compact design makes it easy to carry.

Perfettamente funzionante in ogni sua componente! Posso duplicare il monitor del mio Mac tramite porta Thunderbolt (USB-c) e avere comunque una porta USB standard libera nel dispositivo di riferimento.

Werkt goed, stroom is niet nodig. Oude VGA stekker nodig voor KVM. Toetsenbord en muis passen hier ook in.

Har bara gott att säga om denna produkt. Enkel, lätt och billig
