Decent reel for the money. Very smooth and the gears inside look to machined well. There is no strike function on this reel. It appears to be more or less set up for bottom fishing not trolling.

Ok reel for the money. You can tell by the pictures, but it is a star drag, not a lever drag as the description says. I ended up returning the one I bought, but would consider buying again in the future if I needed a cheap extra reel.

Has a little play in the handle but casts smooth. Brakes aren't the best. Have to utilize your thumb a little more when casting in comparison to some other reels but so far pulled in a 20 lb channel cat with ease. We'll see how it holds up over time

reel handles very well and quick retrieve just what i was looking for.

We purchased four reels. Two of them broke the first day we used them.

paird with 11ft.okuma longitude heavy only getting around 45yds, with 6oz weight. ill keep praticing.
