This is an excellent, sturdy, accurate meter at a very affordable price. I was initially skeptical because of the low price, but I use this meter every day and it's a valuable and reliable tool!! The added high visibility multicolor LED at the top of the meter is also great because it lets you know at a glance if a battery is good or bad in addition to the digital reading, and the LED provides visual warning when voltage is present.

Initial testing good. While not the cheapest option available, it is still very low cost and seems like a much more professional tool than the lower-priced options I tried. This unit has a relatively compact size, but still has a decent heftiness feel to it - I do not mean that it is heavy, just that it does not feel like a 50 cent plastic toy. It comes with a decent 17 page manual written in actual English instead of some Chinese gibberish. Another notable feature is that the test leads come with tip covers that actually have real value. Instead of just completely covering the tips so that they have to be removed to use the meter at all, these leave the very ends of the tips exposed so that the leads can be used for many basic measurements with the covers left in place (such as a quick battery test). More than just convenience, these have the added value that if you need to measure something in a tight position where you are worried that the normally long and fully exposed tip might short out on something beside you intended measurement point, the lead cover proves extra protection. I'm not sure why most modern test leads come with full plastic covers anyway; what possible protection does a bare metal probe need in storage? The accuracy specs (from the manual) seem to be acceptable for a tool in this price range: DCV +-0.5%, ACV +-1.0%, Current +-1.5%, Resistance +-1.5%. While not a scientific instrument, it is very functional around the house and shop.

Fantastic. Multi functional. Perfect size. Very good quality. Exceptional value.

Good product. Large display with a back light, which comes in very handy. It has a kick stand and the build quality feels good. In addition, it has a small flashlight, No Contact Voltage probe, and you can snap the lead to the back of the unit for storage or for ease of use. Snap one probe on the back and hold the other. The dial is easy to understand. It's great for home owners and D.I.Y.ers. No complaints at all. NOTE: No magnet or alligators clips if that matters to you.

I needed a new replacement for my old harbor freight junky meter that for me was difficult for me to used. Simply put, I am completely ignorant on electrical matters. This meter does the work for you. Easy to read dial; just set it and go. Meter has good weight and the quality of the probes is excellent. I would buy it again.

These are really great meters especially for the price. Unless you’re doing some very specific measurements, or need a special fast response, there is no reason these meters could not do any low-voltage job out there. I do wish they offered some kind of magnetic holding option, even if it was a little bit more money.

This is great for home use if you use a lot of batteries. I bought it primarily for the battery testing facilities as we were having problems with some items [grandkids toys and other "smart home" items. We were changing battery sets frequently so thought I'd get a meter to check the status of each individual battery rather than block change them out. I chose this model from the reviews, the price, and the simple switch for choosing the test function needed. I have only used it for resistance and battery checking to date but it paid for itself within a short time as a relation has a holiday let and routinely has to check batteries for the fire regs. Using the meter allowed faulty cells to be replaced individually, saving money each time. I bought a second one as a gift and left it at the holiday let. Very simple to use and a nice clear display. The associated user manual is small but pretty comprehensive with some real life usage examples. My grandson likes to help with the testing [a clear red or green light depending on the voltage of the battery being tested]. One word of caution - the test leads have a very sharp prong at the end so be careful.
