Shampoo and Conditioner Bar Set - 5pcs with Holder & Travel Tins - Vegan, Sulfate-Free, Paraben-Free - Eco-Friendly Gift for Women

This is an amazing shampoo and conditioner set. I have a short bob style and salt and pepper hair color. The shampoo with only two swipes (one on each side of my hair after it is wet) produces enough suds to throughly clean my hair and scalp. I don’t use a lot of hair products usually, but on the days when I do then I do three swipes in my wet hair and this easily cleans it all out. My hair does not feel dried out and my scalp is not itchy. The lavender scent is present but doesn’t make my hair smell at all.The conditioner is a bit harder to tell if I have used enough, but with some practice I have figured out what is right for my hair. I wet my hands and roll the conditioner in my hands until the feel well coated the I rub what is in my hands on my hair from the ends up to scalp. This is not like bottled conditioners, your hair will not feel slippery, but if this is rubbed in like doing shampoo, there is enough. Having fine hair it is easy to over condition and weigh it down. But the gray hair is more coarse so finding a balance is hard. This conditioner does the trick. My hair is shiny and weighed down, both my natural and gray hair seem equally pleased with this conditioner,The bamboo soap dish is a must have so this can dry out easier and evenly in between uses. Also, don’t put this set in a place in the shower or bath where water will consistently flow over it because that will melt it away just like a bar of soap. The tins are fantastic for travel and because this isn’t a liquid it can be taken in carry on luggage if flying some where. The size doesn’t take up much room at all in luggage and no need to worry about liquids exploding or leaking when traveling.People with thicker hair may have to use more, but I don’t have experience with this concern. Overall, my hair is clean and shiny. For having fine hair I get great body. I also don’t have to wash my hair every other day any longer, I have been able to now go to every 4 days in the colder months and sometimes even 5 if I haven’t been very active. My bars show little usage and hubby and I are both using them so this is going to last a lot longer than any bottled products we’ve ever used which is great, less plastic usage is not a bad thing.Overall we are very pleased with this purchase and will definitely be coming back for more. It is such a nice set I may even get some for our grown kids to try next. Spouse wants a set for his gym bag too so after he works out and goes back to work he doesn’t have to worry about liquids getting wasted if his shoes land on top of his baggie with shampoo. He said he’ll put the soap dish in his desk drawer to dry out and enjoy the scent in his office.

The hair shampoo and conditioner bars lather very well. It makes your hair shiny and healthy.

I love the shampoo but the conditioner takes a while to get into my really long hair. That's why 4 stars. I bought a second set of the bars which I am taking to germany.

These build lather with very little product, and they smell great. If you want to save space, you can cut them in half, wrap the dry halves in their tissue, and store them together in a single tin. Soap caddy is bulky but effective and pretty. I would buy these again!

I like being able to carry products that don't leak in your bag, so this was ideal. I needed to minimize travel items so I cut a small piece off of each bar. The shampoo crumbled and the powder didn't allow me to incorporate water to work up a lather. I didn't feel like I had a great shampoo. My head was irritated a couple of days later, which for more those who shampoo more frequently, it may not be an issue.

I bought this solid shampoo bar to reduce my use of plastic and as an alternative that I could take on an airplane in my carry-on bag. I am impressed by how well it lathers up. I wash my long hair every other day, and one bar has lasted me several months, so it is economical to use. I actually like it much better than the liquids I used to use.

It saved lot of money spent for plastic products. So eco friendly!! I have medium length hair. When I use it, it was like 2 movements with water on. It popped into full shampoo or conditioner. I love the smell too. Travel kits are great! Bamboo holder is the perfect for holding them. Worth it!! I already ordered other scents too! Highly recommended!!

Edit: September 24, 2024I quit using the shampoo for about 7-8 months as I was experiencing hair loss. I wanted so badly for this to be a good product as I really like the idea of a more sustainable solution to plastic bottle shampoo. Unfortunately, after two days of using this shampoo again the hair loss came back. Had a fistful of hair come out in my shower this morning. This shampoo is not a safe product to use and should be taken off of the market immediately!Edited:Oct 1 2023;I have had my bamboo soap holder in my shower for about a month now. The bamboo holder has damage from the wood contraction. This is at no fault of the seller or the supplier/manufacturer, as like any wood product - will naturally expand and contract from humidity. I am assuming that wood glue was used for the joints of the soap holder as the glue is hard and not flexible. A more flexible glue at the joints of the holder may be more helpful for sustainability. I am determined to go 100% plastic free in my shower and am going to try to use a more flexible glue at the joints of the the soap holder and see if that works. Please contact manufacturer and ask them to use a more flexible glue as most people would probably ask for a replacement and throw it in trash - not sustainable! However, I do still live the shampoo and conditioner.I was a little skeptical on trying solid shampoo but I LOVE it! You need very little to get an efficient lather and my hair feels absolutely wonderful! I am not too keen on the scent of the shampoo but the scent does not stick and leaves my hair with a clean hair smell! I am extremely excited to trade in my all of my plastic bottle clutter for a simple Bamboo holder! My showers are so much more relaxing with out all of the cluster!!! Zen all the way!Also, I might add that I am super stoked to not have to take shampoo and conditioner bottles on my travels any longer! No more plastic bottles for this girl!!
