Spanish for Dental World: A guide to serve Latino patients better

I bought this book last week. In a matter of days, I was able to better communicate with Spanish speaking patients. I followed the author’s instructions and didn’t skip any sections. The book covers every aspect of the patient to understand the dental process. It includes a great deal of help with basics, pronunciation, common terms used, and direct translations. From not knowing much Spanish, I feel like I now know enough to do a better job working with the patients. This book is very informative and helpful. I recommend this book to all fellow dental professionals, students, and educators.

I work in the dental field as an office manager. In just a few days this book has helped me better serve the community through better direct communication with our patients. The detail in this book is incredible and not only includes examples of dental terms and phrases, but also includes teachings on building a firm foundation in the Spanish language from grammar to dictation that I can make use of even outside of work. There is no doubt I will benefit from this guide for years to come. I’m so happy I found this book!

As a dental hygienist with a patient base of mostly Hispanics, this book is exactly what I needed. It can be stressful for clinicians and patients when trying to explain and understand a treatment plan. This book makes communication really easy. Now you no longer have to guess what your patients are trying to convey.

If you are in need of some help with dental vocab this book should be a go to. It simplifies common dental terms so you are able to effectively communicate with your patients. Im an RDH in the public health sector and this book has been a saving grace

This book is very unique. As much as I have studied Spanish, I have not found a book that focuses on health and the dental profession. I am more confident that I will be able to communicate directly to my patients without a translator.

Very fast shipping. Colorful pages make it easy to focus. Knowing something as simple as the days of the week when making follow up appointments helps the patients and myself as an assistant to feel more comfortable. Would highly recommend 👍
