I got this for journaling back and forth with my daughter. The lock feels a little flimsy, but my six-year-old is able to use it without trouble. The journal is cute, but the flower print on the pages can make it a bit hard to read what's written. For a child learning to read and write, that's a complication.

I bought this for my 6yr old who was dying to have a diary. It is very cute and colorful. The lock and key is a little hard to handle especially for a 6 year old who may not fully know how to operate a lock and key. The keys are so thin that you feel like they may brake if you turn them too hard. Overall it is a nice gift to give to a little girl who is looking to write down her thoughts and dreams.

Not a thick diary but still cute nonetheless. We actually purchased this as a stocking stuffer for our 7 year old daughter. She’s in first grade and is reading and writing extremely well now so she was super excited when she found this in her Christmas stocking. Perfect little diary for younger girls. I would definitely give this two thumbs up.

Love this journal! This was purchased as a gift for a 9 year old. It was really cute. The pages were a good thickness and the design was cute, especially for the writings of a younger kiddo. Comes with a lock and key, which is reminiscent of my childhood journals. The front and back covers are vibrant and fun.

Special needs family member want a diary and this fit the bill perfectly. Large enough to write and draw in thst comes with its own lock and key. Very cute and affordable.
