This is a nicely made product. When blown correctly produces a nice, clear and loud sound. It takes practice! You won't be an expert after blowing it 20 times. Practice! As far as the smell goes it is an ANIMAL horn. As such yes it will have a natural odor. It isn't bad at all. If that bothers you get a plastic toy but it won't be the real thing. This is. Such is the nature of a natural product. Remember length is measured along the outside curve, not overall length.

This is a clear sound Shofar. It is a real ram horn and lovely. I recommend this one. Now I am going to order the longer one. Thanks

Very small. Bad smell. There’s a crack in it somewhere and not making any sound but an air sound. Doesn’t work. Looks decent but it is damaged or poorly made unfortunately.

I received mine, was exactly what I expected! Beautiful it was fully polished. The makers say half polish, but mine was a full polish. If you have never used one think raspberry! It’s as simple as blowing raspberries on a babies belly! I’d recommend this product and the company who hand makes them as a five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practice is key for the beginners you have a 50/50 chance of getting a great loud sound on your first standing try, once you know exactly how and what your doing you will be able to create many different sounds of beauty with your shofar!
