LEGO Marvel's Avengers - Wii U

I got this for my son around Yuletide (Christmas time) and found this gem of a game. Lego is always a reliable video game publisher. Big fan of all the games I've played made by Lego to date and this one is certainly among them. Lots of playable characters, very fun, albeit a bit difficult, but easy enough to figure out with the assistance of YouTube.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this game--the individual levels have lots of great additional playability and the open world areas are fantastic. (The Farm is my favorite so far)MUCH better (in my opinion) than Lego Marvel Superheroes & a lot more fun to play through. If you enjoy simple lego games that aren't overstuffed with endless (pointless) sidequests, this is the game for you!

The LEGO Avengers video games is just as amazing as the rest of the LEGO games out there! Actually it may be better, since it's newer and is available for the Wii U. This availability means you can play with the Wii U Gamepad and a Wiimote, so no more split screen! This game is two players, and my husband or son and I play together more often than we play alone. Having a whole screen to yourself as you play with someone else is a great feature!This video game covers a few of the more recent Marvel movies, like Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, and Captain America: Winter Soldier. I have seen two of the three, so it's cool to follow along with the game's story. They adhere to the films as much as they can while still creating a fun gaming experience.There haven't been as many glitches in this game as in past LEGO games, which is a huge relief! We have made it all the way through story mode and finished over half of the areas in Free Play and haven't gotten too stuck. With the game being so new, you can't simply Google for help. But while it is challenging, there haven't been many places where we just cannot figure out what to do. So less frustration while playing, especially for my 5 year old son.

Terrific game for the most part, but having played through only 7 levels, I've already come across two bugs and have had to start two entire levels over in order to be able to move on. The graphics are incredible and it seems to be another fantastic Lego game, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the two bugs I encountered are just flukes. Will give another review once I've played more of the game!

Super fun game with lots of humor and tons of character variants to collect. If you like searching every nook and cranny of a game to unlock everything, you will certainly get your money's worth. I've always loved the Marvel universe and this is a great avenue to share that love with my 5-year old daughter, in a way that we can both enjoy.

My boy will love this he is getting it for Christmas. Cheapset I found and well worth the money will let ya know more when he gets it. Thank you

Another great addition to the Lego Wii U universe. Multiple player game play, similar to over editions that there is a main "world" where there are many mini games, challenges throughout the map in addition to the levels. They are challenging enough to keep everyone interested, and yet easy enough for kids to enjoy. The only downside is that the comments from the "crowd" while walking around the town are funny the first time, but annoying when you've heard the same comment 1000 times.

I know gamer reviews focus on the bad aspects of this game, which it does have, but honestly, I just love flying, driving and running across NYC in this game. I play it more than others. Just to cruise around the city. It does bug sometimes and there's no fix for it, just reset. Some missions could be smarter, but LEGO is very predictable in their genre.
