I have ordered these 6 times over the last almost 2 years. I have a boxer (Emma) she’ll be 2 in February 2024. She’s about 60lbs of mischief. She’s a moderate chewer – has never really chewed anything crazy in my house (furniture, shoes etc.) BUT I always keep something (hopefully) more interesting available for her to chew. These twists fit that bill!1 chew lasts her anywhere from a day to a week-sometimes a little longer-depending on her mood, I guess. Sometimes she chews them every free minute…sometimes she ignores it for days, but she does love these, they occupy her and give her a way to channel that chew drive.No strong smell to these until she’s chewed it for awhile and then the chewed end is gummy. Then it smells kind of like an old dish rag. Nothing that I smell across the room or anything but if you touch it and bring it toward your face-yeah.I tried buying the other 9-inch rolls (Plain and wrapped) offered by Wild Eats and they were too wide for Emma to get a good chew with, so she tried and then ignored them. The width of these twists have been perfect.There has not been any cracking or sharding while these were being chewed, like I said earlier they kind of gum up on the end Emma chews and eventually wear down. They’re pretty tightly rolled so I believe that helps. I haven’t seen any notable sized pieces coming off to present a choke hazard.No tummy upset caused by these.These seem to be of great quality every time we’ve ordered them -No complaints. The jerky wrap part can vary in color, but they’ve always been fine-no rotting odor, no mold etc.We love these for our fur baby and will continue to buy them for as long as this company sells them!

PROS:Our dog Goonie has a lot of energy to burn so he gets bored very easily if he doesn’t have activities throughout the day to keep him busy and would whine, (and worse case), nip at us for attention. With these, we finally found a solution! 🙏🏻We tried bully sticks which he loved, but they’re expensive and don’t last anywhere near as long as these do! Plus, if he had more than one six inch bully stick his stomach was upset. Yak Chews he was just ok with, but I worried how tough they were on his teeth.Finally we tried these and I’m so glad we did! The jerky wrap enticed him to try it, (even though he ate it off immediately lol), and now he’s still been chewing on the first one for three days straight, and he chews relentlessly through the day.CONS (that are still kind of pros to me lol)It is messy, as most chew treats can be, so I try to put a towel down first for him if he’s on furniture.It has a barnyard smell, which is off putting for us humans, but I really feel like that smell keeps our dog coming back for it. We had tried other brands of beef cheeks that didn’t have the odor and he lost interest in those more quickly!Conclusion:Definitely buy these if you have an energetic power chewer like us! I would monitor their stool after the first couple days of them chewing on it, however, just to be certain it isn’t causing them stomach issues. Good luck!

Good for moderate chewers. Lasts awhile which is important.

Y'all, this is it. This is the longest lasting chew of any kind we've found yet to date. We have a pitty mixed breed who chews through anything labeled "for aggressive chewers" in roughly 15 minutes flat. Always. She's also a 10 month old pup (teenager) who we just adopted a week ago and gets very anxious when we leave her in the gated off living room 🙃 We've been searching high and low for a chew which would be exciting and rewarding enough for her that we could give it to her when we leave the room to show her she can have fun and enjoy alone time instead of panicking and barking at the gate. But everything we'd tried basically worked in 15 minute spurts, the end. This bad boy? This water buffalo cheek roll brilliance? This lasted a full half hour before she even noticed we'd left the room. Then, after at least another half hour, we checked on it and SHE HAD BARELY MADE A DENT. Y'all. This is magical. We will never be without them in the house. Worth every dang penny.

We have a GSP and we have to keep him in a crate for part of the day so we are constantly in the hunt for things to keep him occupied. He’s an aggressive chewer so we go through stuff pretty quick. These do a good job at keeping him occupied for a couple hours versus some other bones/chews that he’ll go through in 10 minutes or less. They do smell a bit, but not too awful. We’re happy with them overall.

My golden retriever loves rawhide. Will go through 9 inch rawhide less than 20 minutes. Not only is it not good for dogs, It also gives her diarrhea. Read a lot about these. Game changer! Takes her a couple hours to get through one and she’s totally entertaining the entire time. Amazing! will keep buying

Last order I made I loved it; great value, large size. This time, 30+% smaller for ALL 5 bones for the exam same product. This seems to happen especially with subscribe and save. Why punish those who like your product and subscribe?

It takes my dog a little bit to get into any chews. With a little enticement with some peanut butter I got him engaged. He is a power chewer and these worked perfect. It did not break down easily, but it did get soft enough so that he could gnaw on it. We don't let him get down to a very small piece. So once he had gotten it down to about three inches we threw it away. But once he got engaged with it, he loved it. And I highly recommend it for any dogs that are super chewers. It Did have a little odor but nothing that was not tolerable.
