Delicious but must be toasted, slathered with butter and jam.

I have a hard time giving these even 1 star. They tasted like cardboard and had the consistency of rubber. Maybe I'm just spoiled on the crumpets from The Crumpet Shoppe in Seattle.

I love crumpets. So glad I can buy them, just not good at making them. Got hooked on them years ago when living in Seattle. At the market was a place that made crumpets. Been hooked ever since.

Don’t buy these crumpets. I thought they would be fine since they have a longer shelf life than some other stuff, but when they got here there was black fuzzy mold growing all over them inside the package, so I’m guessing they’ve been sitting around for a very long time. The parts that aren’t covered in mold are rock hard and stale. There is a no return policy on these too, so this is a definitely don’t waste your money situation.

I enjoy Crumpets whenever I can source them. They are great for breakfast or snacks , especially with lemon curd and butter. I just wish they were a bit more affordable or at least available near me. As it is ,whenever I can no longer resist the urge to dig in to a fresh as I can get crumpet, these will be the ones that I will place in my cart without hesitation. I only give them 4 stars mainly due to price.

My mother was very happy with these. You can’t buy crumpets here. She loved them.I did not.

Completely different than something you'd buy at Tesco or a supermarket in England. These are kept fresh using vinegar? A lot more is needed to keep these fresh for storage and sale from Amazon, I guess. It ends up being a different flavor profile and consistency altogether. Not bad, just different. Good if you're willing to try something that's a little bit of a twist on the original.
