Leslie Female Latex Mask (Halloween Realistic Woman Mask) by JENNY LANDIS

I am not sure why this is considered a toy, but meh. I am a biological female of non-white ethnicity and have long wanted to dive into Masks. This is my first latex one, and I'm well aware there are a few brands with much higher quality. I didn't want to waste too much money if I wouldn't "pass" at all in anything so I considered Leslie a starter so i can practice positioning, makeup, and dolling it up.Few notes---This smells strangely like a balloon. Obviously I know why, but its borderline overwhelming (and I enjoy the smell of latex.) I gave it a gentle rinse nd continue to do so after applique to see if it remains.-I tried it on, and everything goes where it should. The ears are certainly worth hiding, as they are a it too cartoonish. The face itself though, serves as a decent palate. With a decent amount of makeup (namely lipstick and lipliner) you can really change very blah lips to blending. I have larger (not huge, but larger) lips and had to do some redrawing, otherwise it looked like her upper lip was swollen. I used eyeshadow for a little more of a skin look, because the eyes are a bit dead with the solid green. Regular eyeshadow will go right on and off with regular brushes. I also added some blush. I may dabble in foundation at a later point. The eyeholes are a it too big for me. I think this is because its more for a male but I am fine with that. I throw on some glasses and its no big deal.-I have no latex allergy but this makes me a bit itchy. Not dying itchy, just a bit irritated.-for $40 they skimp on finer details around mouth and eyes. But, again, nothing major. Probably could walk down the street in glasses fully made up, but I'd probably look like I wasnt feeling well or being suspicious.-Overall, great. Few caveats, was expecting less than what I got so Im happy. Don't anticipate Greyland or SPFX but something reasonaly close.

This mask is too flimsy. You will need to stuff it full to keep the face from falling in on itself.

The Leslie fits like a glove compared to the much more costly Ashley model. The eye holes are perfect and the skin tone is just a little more tan than the picture. It is unknown if this product can be worn for extended periods of time without becoming hot under the mask. I hope they make other "characters" with this composite of construction because it fits so well.
