I am so amazed that the glare no longer bothers my eyes
5 stars are not enough! I had cataract surgery two months ago & have had increased sensitivity to light, more than usual, although I've always had it. It was so severe I honestly considered resorting to those hideous sunglasses provided post op....seriously! Then I read about these Theraspecs & they have saved me from wearing those other sunglasses! I am so amazed that the glare no longer bothers my eyes! I have the Stella, which are quite lovely, fashionable & fit my head perfectly. If they didn't fit, instructions are provided to customize them, but they are quite comfortable for me!

Not very attractive but…
They are very comfortable. I’m going to guess you probably could find something just as good for less though. I’ll be keeping mine.

Finally some relief for Reverse Seasonal Disorder
Since childhood (60+ now), I had not enjoyed the outdoors during the Spring/Summer months. Finally, a few years ago, I mentioned my discomfort to my Dr. sharing that the sun even with sunglasses would be so bright that it was physically painful. She asked if I had ever heard of Reverse Seasonal Affective Disorder. I had not. It is thought people with this disorder, (unlike those who suffer from Winter SAD), can be affected by too much light.Over the years I had tried many brands of sunglasses. I think there were doing what they were designed to do, but offered me little comfort.I did not want to suffer through another summer. So did some research and settled on the Theraspecs. Wore them the day after receipt in early June and talking about a hallelujah moment, the relief was instantaneous. Whatever rays that created the discomfort seems to be blocked by these sunglasses. It is like I am seeing what people without sunglasses see with no problem -namely Summer. My ultimate test was to look at glare on a windshield. To my surprise I did not experience ‘eye jolt’ or an almost sick to the stomach feeling. I knew then these were the sunglasses for me.My hope would be in the future, there would be a Theraspec style with top and side protection. For now I will continue with a wide brim hat and the Theraspecs. Feels soooo good to look forward to the outdoors without dread.

These are incredible. They fit against the face and hug the head but are quite comfortable. Heading for the beach 3 months after miserable concussion and lingering photosensitive headaches. Sure hope they help.

Worth every penny
I absolutely love these glasses. I suffer from visually stimulated migrains (usually triggered by bright sunlight). I haven't had a migraine since I started wearing these outside. They come highly, highly recommended. I won't leave home without them, and even run with them on.

no more sun headaches!
I'm very sensitive to the sun and used to get headaches after spending time in bright sunshine. No more headaches with these glasses! Hurrah!

These are the BEST sunglasses-migraine preventing or regular available anywhere!
If I could give these glasses more than 5 stars I would. They are, by far, the best sunglasses- migraine preventing or regular- I have ever worn. They really are glare blocking! The only minor complaint or advice I might offer is that the glasses only come in asoft fabric sleeve which is not adequate to protect the glasses when you are not wearing them. At $150 a pair I feel a sturdy glass case should be included
